Is there any sensor which commands when to turn it on/off? i could not find one. Sorry for the ignorance
There is actually two temp sensors on the engine. One for the instrument cluster and the other one is used for the glow plug controller so it knows the coolant temp and adjusts the preheating and after-heating times.

Here is a little graph that shows how much time it runs:

If the GPs don't shut off, I wonder if the problem could be the ign switch. If the ign switch activates the relay that turns on the GPs, maybe the SW is bad?????

Great, thanks for the info. It should be some chip/processor to run this algorithm. I thought this tractor as simple as a hummer.
I'll check it tomorrow and report back.

Good thing, now it starts right up with no problem. I have a huge red oak tree fall 20 ft from my house and could not do anything because the tractor would not start. Temps were in low 30th.

Checked today. It works as supposed to, however, after installing the new GP, today morning temps were 27-29F and the start was very difficult. It started eventually as opposed to previous it would not start at all.
Is there anything else i miss checking? I remember last year it was close to 0F and it would start no problem.

Check the voltage and type feeding the glow plugs. Your alternator may be putting out 14V+ A/C which is probably not a good idea.

My alternator show 14.4V constantly. The plug is marked 11V.
But now is the question, why after i put new plugs the start is still difficult. Not impossible as it was when the plugs were shut, but not as it should be IMO

How long do you cycle the GPs before you crank the starter?

Did you measure the resistance on the new glow plugs before putting them in? There is a chance one could be bad. I don't know the exact value it should be but as long as it's not an open circuit, it should be good.

Yes, i checked all of them, no resistance. 0.01-0.02 OM. As much as i understood any value besides open shod be GTG.
Probably i need to take them out, connect to a battery and see how much they actually glow?

That would be indeed a wise move.
