Good morning!!!!

I haven’t ran my Stihl chainsaw in a few years. Use my echo pole saw. Tried to start Stihl a couple weeks ago, no luck. It’s always been hard to start.
My Husqvarna will start everytime. It's old faithful.

The last can of gas I mixed up for it was about 2 years ago. Used non-ethanol gas for the mix.

I had to do some large limb cleanup after a storm. Grabbed that can from two years ago, gave it a shake to mix the oil in, and filled up the tank.

Three cranks and she was running. Ran through the tank of gas without an issue. I swear that saw will run off almost anything.

I have noticed with Stihl saws that they can be temperamental if they sit for any length of time.

I believe the pick-up tubes in the tank deteriorate over time.

Yeah, and they sure don't like gas with ethanol in it either.

Boss had two Stihl saws. One was larger with the 20" bar. The other was a small easy start for limbing.

That easy start always gave him fits. I think he finally got fed up and sold it.

Wife’s relatives from that area.
First one to move to VA born in Freehold NJ in 1716, his first 3 sons born in Berks PA.
His GGF emigrated to Mass Bay Colony in 1637.

My last company has office in Florham park NJ, I used to drive up for the day on several occasions , leave at 5am, get there at 9. Work till 5, drive home by 930 pm.

Thought I was having printer problem , turns out it is new version of word. Older version printed it fine. It is our Christmas card address labels.

Replaced 4 ink cartridges in the printer last night, as soon as I got them in the printer decided a 5th one now needs replaced. Don’t have that one, neither did staples, and amazon says after Christmas.

Working a day of OT tomorrow, got my hours in already.

Good evening! It got to 75° this afternoon and now 61° which may be our low tonight.

Grand Daughter (Texas State Freshman) texted me Tuesday afternoon and said she had a short break in her finals .. could she come to the Ranch .. for some "fresh air". Madison got here about 4 p.m. Tuesday and we hopped in the truck .. to head to Columbus for supplies .. for her favorite meals.

Maddie said our spaghetti was her favorite but .. since we had a late start .. Tuesday dinner would be tacos and spaghetti / Texas Toast for Wednesday dinner. Waffles and bacon for Wednesday breakfast and lunch at the Dairy Cone in Columbus.

This was first time she's been back at the ranch .. since we got the new 2021 Polaris Ranger so .. she had a great time touring in "her" new Ranger. .

We built fires in the fire pit Tuesday and Wednesday night and we had a great time visiting, looking at all the stars, and playing music on the East porch / patio.

Maddie left late morning and texted me, when she got back to San Marcos, that she appreciated the break and was ready for her last two finals.

Back to work .. tomorrow!

Hope everyone had an excellent day.

Prayers to all.
