Thanks Dave it looks like that manual covers my engine.
I will verify the info tomorrow.

Up early to get going on the engine rebuild.
I looked thru the files and found everything I need except for the valve seat angles & margin width.
Manual includes instructions on valve grinding/lapping and guide replacement and reaming but no mention on the seat details.
Not a problem as I have the cutters to match the seats.
Just odd they completely omitted those details.
Thanks Dave for the info!

Yup, i truly hate gfcis. I installed a $53 siemens GFCI on a lake pump for a customer. New pump and wiring. Lasted 1 week. Kept tripping....even if all wires were disconnected. Had to replace breaker.

Did i say i hats gfci痴

This chat had me thinking about arc-fault interrupters.....Haven't checked code, but I suspect they are intended for indoor use.

What is the collective verdict on arc-fault-interrupter reliability/longevity ?

Top of my list of things to do is rip out absolute garbage Siemens ARC fault breakers from Barn. Tired of going in there with a flashlight in leau of the proper lighting!

The utter garbage that is rammed down our throats by GOVERNMENT!

All this government protection from our self......makes me wonder how many people actually got killed weather plugging in a toaster or skillsaw back 10, & 20, &30 years ago. Is the tail (manufacturers) wagging the dog (electrical code writers) ? They were just introducing arc fault breakers when we built. Fortunately our inspector was not a fan either.
