Gosh, Eric, that was thought provoking indeed. Thank you. Now you have me considering how bright our vehicle lights and how much they contribute to the pollution, especially when driving up hill and the light continues over the horizon into the sky. Maybe a good time to just turn them off?

as long as you can see in the dark...but if you had reflectors of some arty merit that lit up the way, you might get by on your parking lights.
And then Eric would not be wincing from the glare, his sheep who then can't sleep...baaahhhing loudly at him all night long.
Hey what goes around comes around on a round earth and I guess we should be lumen limited at times. But not inside my wood shop...

Good morning to all! Low of 25, going up to 54 today. Overcast right now, but sunny later.

Well the shop time was short yesterday, but it didn't take as long as I thought to get the entry bench project completed..... well, 99% completed. When I made my big round of hitting all the hardware earlier this week, I forgot to get the wrought iron coat hooks for it.... DUH!
So, a trip back to HD today to get them. Only about 10 minutes to install them, easy to do, but just a pain to have to run into town to get them.

Ron, to answer your question, it is an entry bench with area below for shoes / gloves / hats, etc... the back has place to hang jackets, sweaters etc....

Drew, that was a good buy for the garage door opener. Where did you get it? I have an 8x8' garage door on the tractor bay.... I have been contemplating getting an opener for it. It has become more and more of a pain to go around the tractor to unlock it and open manually.

PJ, good luck with the project! Hopefully some big Cha-ching!

Popgadget, sounds like a good exchange too me... especially if it is good food!

Topps, what if the Plymouth was in the southern hemisphere? Would it be backwards? Or worse yet, in the southern hemisphere where they drive on the wrong side of the road???

I don't know if is is covid panic or what but about half the items on my grocery pick up were out of stock this afternoon. Makes us think about stocking up if we get the chance.

What items is your store out of? Ours is is still out of alcohol and lysol spray disinfectant and lysol laundry sanitizer.

Time management this morning no better than yesterday. Dr’s flight was late (he flies in from Honolulu). He didn’t arrive until 45 minutes after her scheduled appointment. His staff was on it though with patients all prepped so we were out of there about 20 minutes later. His comment was he was pleased to see nice progression, see ya in a month. His office is very high tech, didn’t actually examine her physically, just the computer images the staff made.

The good news called for a reward at Baskin Robbins.

Line to get into Safeway was longest I’ve seen. Checking out was actually pretty good. But the 2 main items on the list, milk and POG (juice) were sold out.

At least HD and propane refill went well.

PO closed by the time we left town, so have to go tomorrow. Tracking shows all items to be delivered.

UPS delivered new phones about half hour ago, so doing the transfer/activations will be my focus.

Surprised to observe that size of the iPhone 12 Pro Max is very similar to the old 6s+.
