I have no problems with my HD wifi enabled dual flush toilet

Yea but, your toilet drains backwards....or is it our toilets that drain backwards?

And if you are dead on the equator, relative to gravity not a map, which way does it drain?

I must really be a "stick in the mud", about 75% of the year I actually use my windows to control the temperature in my truck.

I remember an improvement announcement coming by mail years ago that began with the phrase, "TO SERVE YOU BETTER". A more honest phrase might have been "TO MAKE US MORE MONEY"...

It sounds like you have one of those trucks with an air conditioner that works.☺

I use them in town but on the highway it's too darned noisy.

We used to call that AC system a 2/60. Roll down the two windows and go 60 mph.

ACTUALLY, I am impressed that this "stored here" F150 has "EXPRESS UP" on the window.

Simple things like even changing a battery even require hooking up the OBD2 scanner for some vehicles, These Key Fobs are 15 dollars for the unit and 250 for them to program it. My wife has a 2013 Durango and that is 7 year old technology and I still can't figure out all the buttons and gadgetry. Personally I prefer my old 2000 silverado. I can still work on it and it still possesses less buttons then a space shuttle.

Yeah, we used to call it F 2-60. The "F" was for the good old fly windows that would nearly reverse and scoop some serious air into the cab.

If you really want to talk old, my father's Willy's was one of the last with a crank to open a scoop in front of the windshield... I'm sure that somebody will give the proper terminology.

For ventilation? Was it a pickup?

Yep, back when there was nothing under the dash. Dad's '53 chevy definitely had it and was used often.

My father always regretted selling that old Willys… I've always regretted not buying it back when it was for sale 2 years after he sold it.

My 48 Chevy had one of those right in the middle of the hood, near the windshield. A cowl? maybe?

Cowl vent is the name.

The cowl vents I recall were opened by pushing a lever???? My Dad had an old Star automobile that had a windshield that cranked out at the bottom...it was the AC of the 1920's. He said he was tooling along one day on a farm road, and encountered a swarm of honey bees...and they filled up the interior of the little coupe. I guess it was hectic for a little while.

I remember the ones in the footwells that opened a path from the fenders behind the front tires. And the side tilt windows.
