Good evening all. 52F for the start, clear sky, windy. Wind guts to 30+, Sky stayed mostly clear all day, and high temp was 76F. Bike rid this morning, nap this afternoon, no gopher work, but should have.
Covid update: Cooke 505 confirmed cases, 19 active cases, Montague 238 confirmed cases, 33 active cases, Grayson 2280 confirmed cases, 140 active cases.
Rick nice to hear that gd does get a shot at driving the Vette.
David nice work on the pizza boxes.
Luther, nice rain you are getting.
Drew Hope you can get through the DMV successfully, assembly goes well. Sandburrs are on north lawn edge where poorly irrigated. I can not add the area to my irrigation because golf course owns it. The seeds will cause flats on the bike
Buppies hope you can work through some of that weather.
Roy glad you got some rain.
Drew nice to see people remembering you.
Eric the quiet mornings are rare are they not?
Thomas, mat be a while before leaves get done, nice snow pics
Billy ouch on the antenna repair
Ron good report, Hope the net install goes well. I don't have many fond memories of woodpeckers and cedar lap siding :( Scooter is not fond of sandburrs either
Don no experience with chain upgrades, but the better the metal will hold an edge, the harder it will be to sharpen.
Rich have fun at the races!
Bill hope the greenhouse progresses well.
Randy cactus?
RNG domestic car makers are using the soy insulation also, as my in-laws have to leave hood up to avoid wire chewing and nest building.
Dennis nice color pics
Ted glad you got started.
RS sound like you are getting close with blower, never seen a chain greased like that before
Kyle new term "slobberknocker" glad your team won
Bird live oak doing the same here on front porch.
Dennis nice pic of mowed grass :)
David nice progress
Randy sounds like a good putter day.
prayers for all, especially Drew/move, Jay/peg, Kyle's daughter, RNG/fire and Country
stay safe and healthy you all.

Good morning folks

29 now dew point 26 high of 58 and sunny today. Got almost 2” of much needed rain by the time it stopped yesterday.

Thomas as much as I enjoy winter it’s a bit to early for snow.

Not much planned for today but puttering around.

Enjoy your day everyone.

a chilly good morning all. Frost advisory out, 35 going up to 65 today

ordered two 30# propane tanks for my new dual fuel generator coming in, but am stumped trying to find a
ethanol free gas station in this area, there simply aren't any. Versus NC where I had my choice of stations. Strange how one area can be
so different from another. Want to use gasoline as backup for propane, but sure want to put E0 in gas can. No stations anywhere near over in NJ also.

Hope to make trip to Lowes this afternoon with friend who will help me pick out curtains for remaining windows. Figured a female touch would help here.
This morning is my floor morning, vacuum and mopping, not very exciting. Church is still closed, hope they open up the following Sunday.

after sauteing some onions and yellow peppers, added a bottle of no sugar added marina sauce and a can of black beans, plus veggie meat balls and spices and let that cook
awhile for dinner last night. It was good, next time I'll add curry for more zip. This morning had cereal made with bean flour, slightly different flavor, but added lots of blueberries and some
2 percent organic milk.

Hope you all have a nice Sunday

Good morning all. A dry day has been promised, encouraging me to get up early to move the sheep on before making a start on more pointing.

Taking a ten minute break to warm my fingers on a nice hot cut of tea. It has been interesting to hear the day come alive while balanced on a plank. A few geese honking, then nothing much for an hour before the far off sound of footballers encouraging one another to pass the ball, followed by the first church bells and then a fainter peel drifting several miles over the Cheshire county boundary. As I came inside the first of the Sunday bikers could be heard making their way around the town bypass, each roundabout briefly muting the engine for a few seconds, followed by a might roar as they open up and race the fraction of a mile to the next. Still no chainsaws though, which is most unusual, maybe they have all gone in search of warmer places like the swallows ?

Will catch up on all the posts later - once darkness comes to my rescue :)

28 right now...high in the upper 50's today.
We're going to blow out the gutters sometime today...most of the trees close to the house have lost most of their leaves. I picked up a gutter cleaning kit (last fall) that's attached to a leaf blower...looks to be a two person job (one holding the blower, the supporting the 11' extension). When I bought it last year, we'd already cleaned the gutters...hope it works as advertised and the leaves aren't too wet..
I really don't like getting up on ladders. Fell off the ladder (10 foot) a couple years ago doing the leaf removal
Stepdaughter also wants to pick up a dining table (she already brought the chairs home) somebody gave her. We'll see if this happens...
Ended up watch "1917" and the John Carpenter flick "Starman". "1917" was good...somewhat too long IMHO, but worth a watch. "Starman"...well, most of you are probably familiar with that flick

Between chainsaw and pole saw serval small trees clean up from snow damage just few small areas snow left to melt...rain snow wind combo brought down LOT of leaves.
Plans for today...Just blow leaves until my back pockets start to drag.

Enjoy the day all.

First cup of coffee has been poured. 50° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 56° with off and on rain all day. Got net on garden pond. Got tractor out and dug out entrance and exit to road culvert on road that is on west side of my property. It is not on my property. But if I do not keep it cleaned out it floods onto my front yard when ever it rains. Going to work on cellar door today. Mostly cleanup. I just moved things out of the way when I started project. All that stuff is in my way to build door.
Every bird that visits my feeder likes feeding on this suet cake.

Drew, hope you find ethanol free gas. Airport?

Mostly, i must be getting better at it. Took over 1 hour nap yesterday.

David, good Sophie pictures. Good progress on addition.

Buckeye, nice lawn picture. I need to blow leaves away from back door today. Sassy does not leave enough of a pass for me to walk threw them.

Don, Texas would still be closed with that much snow.

Roy, be carful even on the ground cleaning gutters.

Thomas, I have become confident enough with mine. That I stay at back porch and operate it.

Randy, looks like you have your work day all setup.

Prayers and best wishes for everyone.

Good Morning All.
