Back to my fel blower. Slow progress, getting older. Ssqa plate on the blower. View attachment 672442View attachment 672441
I built a rear pto chaincase with a double row #50 chain. The case is close to the pto so I can still utilize the three point for a back blade. I like the positive power transmission like the Erskine and Schulte blowers. Experimental of course, lots of sittn n thinkin. The rotation issues will be #60 chain with idlers in front of the ssqa plate. No mods to the blower so it can be returned to regular three point configuration.
Snow is not here yet. A little progress. View attachment 673101View attachment 673100
Old man winter stop by this morning to say hi here.
We got the same and it is still coming down. Are you ready ???
gg
Almost 100% ready Gordon just have to put rear chains on tractor dust off Fisher plow for pickup...hope this snow helps slow down the drought.
According to my gauge we got 2" of rain before the snow started and an inch earlier in the week. Should help a lot. We've been babying the well for over a month. 4 neighbors have either drilled new wells or went deeper last month.

Same here, we've gotten 8+" of rain in the last couple weeks, very much appreciated after a really dry summer. Our well didn't go dry but it did get to within a couple inches of the pipe. It's recovered since then. No more flushing with river water!
Got 3.5" of wet, heavy snow overnight, didn't do this lilac any favors...
