They did test with early beta testers, so not exactly a lab simulation, but not production either.

It stands to reason that within a year because of the rate SpaceX is launching the starlink satelites the performance of the system will become apparent. No doubt there will be live updates uploaded to the satellites just like the Tesla cars to increase performance.

I consider it toast now with cell service internet and cell phone hot spots.

bad? was so bad that I couldn't even connect to ***** about how bad it was. Wont miss their customer service either.
