95° dew point 78, heat index 112. Looks like hot humid weather until storm passes. It’s now predicted to pass directly over us.

Had all the kids and grandkids as well as Ellen’s dad yesterday. Had a great party. I did have to replace the regulator on the grill, I borrowed one from a space heater in the garage.
Took the boys for tractor rides. Ate too much but worth it. It was the first time I’d seen my son and his family since Christmas time.
I was tired but happy.

Read your original post as your heart beat was only 5bpm. Mine is usually in the 60’s, but not unusual to be in 50s if very relaxed.

I hadn’t worn a watch in many years and was reluctant to get the Apple Watch for that reason. Now it find it quite useful. I’m amazed how work tolerant, although I was beating on something the other day and triggered the fall alarm. The real challenge was getting the glove off other hand to cancel.

Patricia bought me a Fitbit Charge 2 for Christmas 2016. She finally asked me, in early March 2017, why I wasn't wearing it. I told her I didn't want to wear it and a watch. I had no idea they told time also. DOH!

I started wearing it, after initial charge and setup, and within a week I cracked the screen, using the Fitbit to protect my head from a falling limb .. while trimming lower tree branches. It continues to work but .. I was careful to keep it away from water.

She got me a Charge 3 last year .. which is supposed to be reasonably water proof. I still remove it for showers but, other than that and charging, I wear it 24/7.

I’m left handed basically but have always worn my watch on left wrist. So guess it gets more abuse. Already lost count of times I’ve been doing something and looked at the screen expecting to see it scratched or worse. Been lucky so far. Figure my shower is good way to clean it up
Looking forward to the coming sleep function.

The notifications that come on your phone also come on the Apple Watch. The VFD fire alerts, Ring Doorbell and the Tempest weather station rain and lightning alerts all buzz the wrist.

Part of the Fitbit setup is telling the app .. if it will be on dominant or non dominant wrist. So .. that must make some difference?

I’m just doing a 15 minute exercise run on Sundays. Have’s needed a power/charging run since Jan 15. Really pleased with that.

thanks David, he says he currently doesn't have a fever, which is good news. Really atrocious it takes so long to get answers back.
I have to get a covid test next Monday prior to implantable heart monitor on Wednesday so clearly it takes only a day or two...........
