Wng, it doesn't sound good for the turkey nest.

If there are 2 lanes here in Texas, you are only supposed to use the left inside lane for passing. (It'd be the opposite right lane for Eric)

The law here will give you about 4 mph lenience. If posted 70mph and they catch you at 75, you will often get a citation.

Speaking of driving fast....Let's have some fun.

Ron, here's some rainy daydreaming fun:

Corvette Stingray for Sale: 22 Corvette Stingray Pricing | Chevrolet

How much does yours come up to? I got one down to about $65K, but I really wanted the Long Beach Red metallic tintcoat paint...It said $995 but it added about $1585 for some reason to the price...Oh yes, I could daydream much higher....

Poured first cup of coffee. 63° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 88° with partly cloudy skies. Not much got done yesterday. To warm. Did spend a few hours at neighbors sitting around their pool enjoying the fantastic weather. Not sure what I will get done today. Try to do yesterdays list.
Wanted to get some pictures of a flyover over my town. Never saw the planes. But Sandhill Cranes did a fly over and landed in field.

Wife was pulling weeds in a flower bed today and almost got a snake bite. She saw it and jerked her hand back as it was striking. Don’t know what kind. She said it was coiled. She said she screamed and took off running.

What’s weird is yesterday I had a dream that a snake came after me, I woke up kicking. Lol.

I think my ZT does 10 mph. I have never mowed that fast with tractor, but I bottom out the ZT stick running full speed in the field where it’s flat.

If it coiled before stroking it was probably
A rattler or copperhead. I’m glad she got out of the way. You need a pair of black snakes to take care of that.

57 and fog so thick I could cut it if I had Randy's steak knife. Looking for 77 and some sun.

Rick, fantastic artwork on that memorial in Iowa. A special place, I'm sure.

I've never been a fan of the customer service at our local Tractor Supply, but yesterday changed that. I ordered some things online Sunday night, and got an email yesterday morning they were ready for me to pickup at their special curbside pickup area. Drove up, called their phone number, and in less than 60 seconds a young man brings a cart out and loads about 150 pounds of seed, 2.5 gallons of gly concentrate and some other items into the back in about 2 minutes and off we go.

One of the items was a new backpack sprayer. My 2 or 3 year old $17 HF one died...the plastic shut-off valve/spray wand handle developed some tiny cracks that leaked/sprayed under pressure. I tried some plastic waterproof glue, let it set a week, filled the tank with water, pumped up some pressure, and some new leaks started spraying...I thought about the Dutch boy running out of fingers to stick into the dike. Decided To upgrade a little bit and HF is so much farther away, so bought one at TSC on sale.

Got home and the wind finally died down enough to try it out...much better. Went poison ivy hunting for about 2 hours. Had to stop early because it was almost time for my fantasy baseball draft to start...that's another long story.

Hadn't seen the chupra coyote in almost 2 months, so thought it was a goner, but it was in the yard yesterday morning.

Ron, I'm really enjoying the sandhill crane pix. I'm still amazed they hangout in your yard.

57 outside this AM, heading to lower 80's. Nice layer of fog about. Like my mind.

Finish mowing duties today, need to swap out bushhog for rake. That thing just looks heavy. Not looking forward to that.

Last evening, a fox decided it was too quiet for the neighborhood and caused quite a racket by screaming for over a 1/2 hour. All the neighbors dogs started chiming in too. Man was that funny. You could hear the kids and adults trying to get everyone to quiet down. I applauded the fox and raised a toast to him, or her.

Hope all have a great day. Be safe.
