Don, batteries, clippers and iPad. You need some seat time that pays $$$$.

Good morning! Happy Memorial Day a day of remembrance and a salute to all those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

65˚F cloudy chance of rain. We had 2" after midnight.

Ron, at least I'm not having to shell out money for maintenance and repairs on a tractor, well technically I am but it's shared by 250 people, but only 3 are interested in being an operator.

Drew my neighbor took the back seat to the covid virus also and was delayed 3 months in diagnosis and treatment. She is having a rough time also. Hope you can get a turnaround going we miss your post.

I'm confused, Don. Did you hear from Drew, and does he have CoVid-19?:confused2::eek:

Thoughts and thanks for those that have their all.

67°F and 0 rain.

A strange day ahead. Actually have an appointment for haircut late this morning. Daphnie has a 1 person shop attracted to her house. Wait in truck until called.

Will just piddle about before then.

Virtual happy hour this afternoon.

Wife related strange conversation with sister in Az yesterday, the one that had open heart valve replacement in Jan. She got a call to resume therapy. Required she take COVID tests. Negative for the nose swab test. Positive for the antibody test. Suggesting she had had COVID but was symptomatic. Wife didn’t think to ask if that required her husband to test.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

85F and partly cloudy @ 13:15. Tomorrow will be the hottest day of the year so far, with the high predicted to be 88F with high humidity.

With the temps expected this week, the ground will dry out rapidly ... probably already has to some extent.

More fish tank/filter cleaning and PWC's done yesterday, part of the room vacuumed as well. Probably do some more today.

Used some of the old water/detritus to water the blueberry bushes ...

Spent some time last night further refining the design on lawn vacuum and other technology matters.

Trash picked delayed by a day due to Memorial Day (so Wednesday not Tuesday), need to check whole house vacuum and see if it needs emptied today.

Saw first hummer a couple of days ago, so need to get a batch of juice mixed up and put out.

Hope everyone has the day they're looking for.

Wng, it doesn't sound good for the turkey nest.

If there are 2 lanes here in Texas, you are only supposed to use the left inside lane for passing. (It'd be the opposite right lane for Eric)

The law here will give you about 4 mph lenience. If posted 70mph and they catch you at 75, you will often get a citation.

Speaking of driving fast....Let's have some fun.

Ron, here's some rainy daydreaming fun:

How much does yours come up to? I got one down to about $65K, but I really wanted the Long Beach Red metallic tintcoat paint...It said $995 but it added about $1585 for some reason to the price...Oh yes, I could daydream much higher....

Thomas - cute pic of the fox and turkeys - thanks for sharing.

Looking - nothing like being rocked to sleep by the waves ...

LS - your son did a beautiful job on the notches.

Mostly - on Ohio's officials - well, yes ... some of them certainly do:

Capitol Insider: GOP smackdown at Ohio Statehouse? Representative tells senator: 'I'm 6'4" & won't be pushed around!' - News - The Columbus Dispatch - Columbus, OH

And yes - it was nice that neighbor offered to help - he's a good guy. That FEL hose isn't all that new ... but I'd sure expect it go longer than a couple of years without cracking ... :confused2: Glad they've since changed to Eaton/Weatherhead hose ... hopefully that will be a better quality product than whatever they had before. BTW - The B2910 gets only that fine TSC Premium Universal Trans/Hyd Fluid at this point ... so not really all that "expensive" (... $42 for 5 gallons ... when it's not onsale)

BEF - nice rhody ... ... ours are just getting ready to open up their blooms.

Ron - good to hear it was a crabapple ... we've had pretty good luck with those ... ;)

Good morning to all! Low is a chilly (what now seems to be) 40, only 51 now, going for 72. Overcast and cloudy, so maybe those chances of showers will be correct.

I had a hard time falling asleep again, tossing and turning until about 2 am. Needless to say, difficult time waking up this morning, slept in until 7.

Thomas, if you caught that red eye flight, you would be in time for dinner!

Eric, yes she is from Italy. She makes all the Italian food from scratch.... except for pasta... she reports that to be “ too much of a PIA “

I have not seen either son stirring about yet, so I am assuming yesterday’s work kicked them pretty good! I might have to go disturb their nests....

Speaking of nests, found one in the garden shed up in the corner, has some little peeps in it, so no disturbing it for a few weeks. Momma hid it real well, being we did not see it until too late!

Everyone have a great day!

so the shed repurpose on hold? Or is it a different shed?

I priced out a silver metallic Vette. When I clicked on the personal tag for dash. Price clicked over $90k. Out of my budget allowance for transportation.
