Trailer is ..."very heavy commercial grade"

I’m puzzled by the light duty coupler on this trailer. Makes me think the previous owner had issues, too, and bent the coupler. If it truly was heavy duty, it’d have a pintle or a bulldog hammerblow on it, not a shiny new bolt-on coupler.

That’s so when it starts fish tailing it’ll rip the coupler off and not wreak the truck. In all seriousness it’s only a matter of time until he wreaks that rig.

I do not see a tongue jack on the trailer. Must be either balanced on the axles or tail heavy empty to not need a jack. You can never have too many trailers. Chalk this trailer up to a learning experience and use it for light duty. Keep looking for a 10K commercial built trailer to transport your tractor. Use a bigger heavier truck with a heavier trailer, and rest the little Ranger lol.

Just to put some closure to this.....I pretty much only use this trailer on my property but sometimes use it to go down to the nearest lake and fill my ibc tote.

LSS I hear a bang last weekend, pulled over and found a spring had snapped and struck the pavement. I nursed it back to my property thinking no big deal.

4 a.m waiting for sun to come up this morning and I decided to get under there and have a look thinking its just a busted spring and not an game ender.

Come to find out front r spring had been gorilla welded and it had snapped completely off.

R rear spring was entirely missing a u bolt and the pad was fixin to come out from under that spring entirely.

I picked up trailer with my fel and the axle fell off the spring.

Im in ocala now hoping to find parts at northern tool.

Don't trust anyone. The guy that sold trailer to me knew what he was selling.

No biggie. Ill fix this and now prob have a trailer that will not sway at all.

Huh? If you throw some northern tool parts at it, it will still be a junk trailer. Please, please do not use this trailer on the road to transport heavy things ever again.

If you are thinking of using this on the road again, I would put the front axle where the rear axle currently is and the new axle behind that so that your axle centerline moves back.
