My son tried to get some pics of the moon Monday night, but the sky was slightly overcast and he couldn't really get any good pictures.

I was up early yesterday morning, my son left his camera downstairs but his tri pod was in his bedroom, and I didn't want to try and find it in the dark, so the only place where I could hold the camera "still" enough to zoom in on the moon was on one of the cars in the driveway.

Only issue were trees were in the way, but my wife liked it, so that's all that matters:p

Ah - that's why its been so bright the last few mornings when I get up. So bright - the giant pines cast eerie shadows.

This Super-Pink-Whateverelsetheywanttocallit Moon is still happening here now... so not only do I have to be concerned about 'hunkering down' (good expression, by the way) during this virus thing, but now I've got to be on the look-out for werewolves.

It just keeps getting better and better...

You really need to be a "the glass is half full" kind of guy. On the plus note, you won't need a NV scope looking out for the werewolves.

Well the good news is that my 'rock that keeps the tigers away' looks to have a bonus feature that works on werewolves! :cool2:

I did! The rock that I have has worked perfectly to keep tigers (and now werewolves) away.

Thylacines are a whole different critter.

Nope. It won't even work on tigers, let alone a Lycanthrope. I would try Wolfbane or a silver bullet...or a silver headed cane, which seemed to work well for Claude Rains.

The way things are going in Tassie right now I would be putting barbed wire around my property. LOL Who says we don't have zombies the way some of these people are behaving. I shake my head.

Well now that's just silly, of course it works on tigers... ever since I bought that rock from the African Witchdoctor (over the internet, shipping included!), I've never seen a tiger around my property.

Come to think of it, neither have I...it must be the picture of Elvis. I think I may have seen a cougar...not sure...but that doesn't count, does it?

I got to see the super moon rise in the morning and set that night but was too lazy to walk out to the shop to get the camera .

This one?

If it had been that close long enough to take pictures, I would have had to change clothes and do laundry! The animal I saw was only for about two seconds; it came out of the brush by the edge of the creek behind my house and ran away from me and ducked back into the creek. I didn't have time to identify it with any certainty, but judging by its color. it's long tail, its size and the way it moved and ran, there's a good chance that's what it was. There are some recent videos of cougars in this area; I suspect because the deer and turkey population are getting out of hand.

Not a super moon, but the best I could do with what I got.

Spirit animals are powerful symbols representing traits or energies that guide and support us. Each animal offers wisdom to tap into during specific life challenges. For example, the eagle represents vision and freedom, while the bear embodies strength and introspection. The new moon phase, often associated with new beginnings, is a perfect time to reflect on your spirit animal. Its energy can help you embrace transformation, allowing your animal guide to lead you toward personal growth and self-awareness. Discovering your spirit animal helps you align with your inner purpose.
