For afib I check pulse on my neck. I’ve had 2 heart procedures for it. It’s better, but still get it. My Dr no longer gets excited if I have it, and it’s been less frequent.

Eric, if you had suggested yesterday that you were going swimming in quicksand, and then didn't show up today, that might have been a good April Fools prank. Hope you make it safely. Any of you remember some of those scenes in old movies with quicksand? An old cowboy movie comes to mind, but can't remember the name. When I was a kid, one of the ways we were warned from going swimming in the nearby borrow pit was a kid was swallowed by quicksand there. One really did drown there.

I just joined the wicked club. Put it off for years. Was kind of hard to justify until I got GBS and it now makes some tasks easier. Mine will get lightly used.

Got another Costco delivery today. Got all the meat I ordered, so I’m good for another 2-3 weeks for that. And 4 loaves of bread for freezer. Delivery Guy said most stuff back in stock except TP and eggs. Said they now have wall full of paper towels. He said their delivery service has gone insane. He wasn’t wearing gloves. I wiped it all down with gloves on.

Drew, must be some degree of comfort with Dr’s report, even if frustrating that you can’t do anything immediately.

Randy, curious how you know you were in AFIB? I signed up for the Apple watch study and do ECG every morning. Not that I expect anything, but it has been a few years since my last full cardio workup.

I felt funny if I held my head up real straight or looked up, and my pulse was in the 130s.
