Good morning to all! Low of 45, going up to 58 today. Wind will make it ‘ s presence known, gusts to 60 predicted again today.

Drew, glad to hear that one more hurdle was jumped! Hopefully you will be able to get an appointment and not have to wait an extended period.

RNG, good to hear the propane line got buried without incident... well... hopefully no more leaks...

Gas here has widely spaced prices. Sam ‘ s and Costco are both at $1.35. The majority of the local gas stations are around $2.07. The ones that are right off of the interstate are at $2.35-2.45. Price gouging at the best!

We had grilled pork loin last evening... turned out excellent! A chicken is going in the smoker for dinner tonight. Probably have veggies in there too...

I only have one 6 foot area of the shop that has to get reorganized, that is on the agenda for today! I am hopeful that it will all work out for actually using the shop.... I am sure that I will be asking myself ‘ where the h*** did I put that ‘ .... then wonder why I put it where I Found it.... it will be interesting.

. . . but the lite sour cream was short on flavor. Next time I'll try the non-fat artificial kind, if I can find it.

RNG here is a recipe to make your own Sour Cream.
1 cup cashews
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/2 to 3/4 cup water or as needed
1/4 tsp salt or to taste

Soak cashews for a few hours or overnight, drain and rinse.
blend ingredients in a blender add water as necessary for a smooth texture.

Speaking of which, a court just found PG&E guilty of 84 counts of manslaughter to the tune of $4,000.000. The utility is planning to pay that out of the funds they've already said they've allocated to those that lost their homes and properties. So in effect, they're just passing the cost onto their rate payers, and diluting it by another ten persent. Four million bux works out to something like $40,000 per family that lost a life to the fire. I guess now we know the worth of a human life.:irked:

Sigh.

The people who’s decisions caused these deaths don’t get punished. But the customers get screwed.

good morning all. Nice warm day today, lots of work going on, hope to reseal the driveway and then this afternoon powerwash equipment with hot water powerwasher to get the grease off. Plus finish planting my flowers.

A mostly sunny 42ºF for today’s low temperature and it is a sunny 50ºF presently which my be close to today’s high temperature. Another beautiful day to appreciate and watch the snow melt.

I had planned to take advantage of the "Senior Hour," but the pharmacy did not open to 9:00AM so I arrived ~8:30AM. *The roads were essentially empty. *There were no hand sanitizer dispensers nor*wipes, but there was a spray bottle of disinfectant and paper wipes available at the entrance. *The dispenser was secured to its stand to hopefully prevent its theft.* There were no lines, but high demand food items were unavailable and the paper shelves were essentially empty. *I guess many consumers are now anticipating*a future*need to wipe their sorry @r$e$ with any paper product. *I was able to find the last remaining bottle of rubbing alcohol and was allowed to purchase 2 small hand sanitizer bottles.* I did get most of the items on the list and I now have a decent #*of insulin syringes. *There were sneeze guards everywhere to hopefully protect the desk staff and cashiers from exposure and 6' spacing lines at all the*checkout lanes.* *I was able to purchase needed birdseed by calling in the order, handing them my CC at the door, and then waiting for them to bring it to curbside. *It was surreal. *I am happy to be back home and hunkered down again.

I made my own hand sanitizer. Mixing the aloe vera gel and alcohol in a bowl resulted in a gross looking bowl of phlegm . It needs to be mixed in a tight fitting jar and shook a long time until it mixes. If my math is correct my mixture is 72%
