At 7 am our Walmart was very busy and I had to wait for a self check out register. It was well stocked for the most part. I found more pickled eggs and my plain whole milk Cabot Greek Yogurt. Can tuna options and volume was less than the last few times I looked. Meats and produce looked well stocked for the most part. A lot of employees were filling orders to be picked up. Gas is back up to like $1.70+. Last week saw it as low as $1.27 in Paris TN. Our number of COVID-19 cases still on the increase.

Yes, people can catch COVID much faster that they recover and that is why the hospitals are overwhelmed.

Took about 3 seconds for my hand to be injured and about 6 weeks to recover.

My brother just did a 19 hour road trip picking his daughter from University...

University shut down and at 18 can't rent a car or even bring one first year to campus...

Flying was out so Dad to the rescue...

I agree that is definitely a part of it. Just has some shock value to it. It will be interesting to see where this ends up falling with regard to mortality %>

Covid is found to live on surfaces for 17 days...that is a long time.

It is good she is now back. Our daughter is living at home this semester so it was simple. She did the fall semester in Germany and I am so glad she was back into the USA before the virus struck.

I think they set up a dorm for the international students trapped in this lock down.

I was looking at my mental health. The 2 weeks before she returned the wife flew over and they did some touring. I needed them back home because of the cats, dogs and horses were missing them.

If the Germans are doing more testing, that may cause the difference. I find it difficult to believe the Germans are any more resistant to have better health care professionals/systems.

There is some question of weather you can detect the virus after it is no longer infectious.

Well crap. Just lost internet. Lost cable TV feed. Posting this over my hotspot on my smartphone. Hope this outage doesn't last long.

Same here about 2 hours ago. Had to fire up the Mobley.

Try to imagine what it would be like going through this crisis/ordeal without modern Internet/cell phone technology...

Yup.
Just went through that. Heavy rain causes our satellite to go out, our land line stops working, cell service on my phone becomes non-existent. Luckily it USUALLY comes back on within a few hours.
Can't figure out why my AT&T phone doesn't work but my AT&T Mobley creeps through (4Mb down .5 up), but darn glad it does.
