Use to watch the show regularly. That show jumped the shark a couple of years ago, gave up on it.

The only reason we started watching it is because a relative of mine is on the production crew and we get to see his handiwork. :)

Yep. I stopped when Negan was defeated and most of his followers dead. Far as I am concerned, the show should have stopped there. Good stopping place.

And they then didn't kill him. That's it. Game over. A guy tries to kill you once, maybe. 5-6 times??? :confused3:

Same thing happened on that show "Lost". The little dude with glasses kept torturing this one guy, and twice he got away and didn't kill the little dude. Lost all empathy for the ones getting abused at that point.

Oh well, it's entertainment.

I read that the Governor of the State of Ohio, Mike Dewine, ordered ALL restaurants closed
Its real.

DeWine Orders Bars, Restaurants Closed in Ohio in Response to Coronavirus

And some quotes from that article:

Ohio Department of Health's website showed 37 cases confirmed in the state, but there are many more, ODH Director Amy Acton said.

Earlier, she estimated there were more than 100,000 cases in Ohio. Today she said it is getting difficult to maintain accurate counts due to a limited number of tests and a flood of possible cases.

Without intervention, DeWine said, between 40 and 70 percent of the population could contract the virus.

Acton implored Ohioans to practice social distancing and stay home if possible to keep Ohio's healthcare system from overload.

By the time you're infected, it could be another two weeks before you are actually hospitalized for this, Acton said today. "Deaths are going to occur four to six weeks after that. We have to assume what is here".

"This is not a drill. This is the once-in-a-lifetime pandemic."

From another forum so I cannot substantiate it but I read that the Governor of the State of Ohio, Mike Dewine, ordered ALL resturants closed at 9PM tonight and not to reopen until further notice... Things are getting crazy. ...

As I understand it, that’s only for the dining rooms.

You can still order to go and get take out apparently.

Then what would the government tax to raise money?

Oh I dont know, income, gasoline, diesel, real estate & home transfers, car leases, all other merchandise to name a few.
Maybe if we got rid of them, there'd be no need for gummit bureaucracy to regulate them????

Just had Wifee cut my hair. Got me thinking... hairdressers and barber shops have to be as high or higher risk than restaurants with the close proximity and physical contact. Seems someone is always coughing or sneezing in an adjacent chair.

Statistics are interesting to me:

At least 12,000 people have died from influenza between Oct. 1, 2019 through Feb. 1, 2020, and the number of deaths may be as high as 30,000.
Alcohol consumption is responsible for one in 20 deaths globally each year, according to a World Health Organization (WHO) report released Friday. Worldwide, harmful use of alcohol kills up to 3 million people annually, accounting for 5% of the global disease burden.
Tobacco kills up to half of its users. Tobacco kills more than 8 million people each year. More than 7 million of those deaths are the result of direct tobacco use while around 1.2 million are the result of non-smokers being exposed to second-hand smoke.

The 1918 Spanish flu infected 500 million people around the world, or about 27% of the then world population of between 1.8 and 1.9 billion, including people on isolated Pacific islands and in the Arctic. The death toll is estimated to have been anywhere from 17 million to 50 million, and possibly as high as 100 million, (675,000 Americans) it was one of the deadliest epidemics in human history.
The viral infection was no more aggressive than previous influenza strains. Instead, malnourishment, overcrowded medical camps and hospitals, and poor hygiene promoted bacterial superinfection.
More U.S. soldiers died from the 1918 flu than were killed in battle during WWI.
Unlike today, there were no effective vaccines or antivirals, drugs that treat the flu.
