Kevin, good news on the Champion. My little one starts ok in cold but not if it's been sitting too long. It likes being started frequently, think getting initial gas through carb is the challenge.

I had a generator that was like this and a friend of mine adjusted the jets and then it ran as it was supposed to. I'm not an engine mechanic so I don't know exactly which jets he adjusted.

), but with how low-cost complete carbs often are today, I'd grab a new one for a fast fix, then rebuild the original some rainy-day....

which begs the question using E0 premium gas, why should my carb be gunked up after only four years using additives?
maybe the holes/jets are awfully small and can't tolerate anything in there.

that is weird. Ive been using nothing but ethanol free fuel in all my stuff for many years, and I do not use any additives. I have never had any further issues since losing the e10 junk fuel.
