Good morning!!!!

   / Good morning!!!! #106,651
Almost through with my 3rd cup of coffee for today. Temperature is supposed to stay in the low 40s until the sun comes out sometime in the late afternoon or evening. It's still raining and I can see about 1.40" in the gauge already. Since the ground was already saturated, my yard now looks like a swamp. I guess the good news is that I won't be doing any mowing in the near future; don't know how long it will be before it dries enough to mow. My bank now shows our income tax refund has been deposited this morning. I'm just expecting a dull day today; don't plan anything at all of interest.

Good morning! Coffee ... two days in a row! Woo Hoo!

It's 46° here with 95% humidity and .... no snow. Our forecast is more rain today and we'll get to the low 60's at best. I'm glad to get the moisture.

It was either raining or a heavy mist yesterday so, by mid-day, I decided to work on some shop projects. I finished the mobile base for the 20 ton press. It's two pieces of 3/4 scrap plywood, laminated together for strength, with four swivel casters, with brakes, rated at 400# each. The press weighs right at 200# so good safety factor.

Today .. I want to use the shop crane to pick up the press, set it on some wood blocks and drill the angle iron base to secure it to the mobile base.

RNG ... I like your redneck pipe cutting rig. Whatever it takes ... right? Are you dry cutting the pipe or adding some cutting lube?

Buppies ... hope your dermo. Doc visit is uneventful.

Roy ... glad you got your rotator working. Do you have remorse about cheating John Deere out of your money?

Don ... looks like you and Kyle are both getting rain today.

Moss ... glad you're employed again.

Ron ... nice picture but ... they're still just rats with nice tails and good PR.

Hope everyone has a great hump day.

Prayers to all.

I hope you didn't just jinx yourself into a blizzard, Rick!:D

Just like I might have just done with a deluge by gloating over the 10 day...

Me too! Our last snow was December 2017 and it was completely gone in way less than 24 hours. I don't remember when it snowed here, before that one.

Good morning all. 53 here going up two degrees all day and only dropping two degrees tonight. Then 79 tomorrow in rain.
These temps in the 70's are waking up the plants and trees. If we can avoid any night temps in the low 20's, flowers and trees
will be very happy, more growth and less winter damage.

Bird, glad your hard earned money made its way back to you. Mine only went out yesterday, waiting for a 1099. Feb 12th, lets see how long it takes for
me to get my check... I've never been audited yet so maybe they won't like my charity deductions, and we can debate the cost of my potatoes grown...
When I amortize the cost of my new tractor and all the implements used to grow that food, it's almost laughably larger than the consideration given.

Buppies, hope you have an easy visit tomorrow. You've been through the ringer lately.
please post a pic of the mini ex in action, if you can.
And don't track any mud inside...;)

Don, enjoy the kale. A series of South Florida based novels I'm reading online has the lead character making a smoothie
each day with kale in it. I think our bodies like dark green vegetable nutrients. Have a nurse friend who does not like vegetables,
good way to hide them in a fruit smoothie. My younger sister has been making things in the blender all her life. She's thin and healthy
but still came down with some form of lupus several years back. Some minor form thankfully.

Oldest brother in Little Dix, BVI this week for his 50th wedding anniversary. He was reminiscing how much he loved the look of the boats there,
long time since he had his sailboat, a 34 foot Morgan. All three brothers are sailors though I'm the one who
likes big motors. I have seriously thought about going back to being a liveaboard from here, big enough boat a hired mate can liveaboard also.
Going up and down the Intracoastal is a great deal of fun. Lot of fresh fish, healthier than meat most likely.
Actually am seriously considering in next few years upgrading the rv situation to a bigger, older diesel pusher and towed car. It seems
to be the most comfortable way to travel with one winter in Florida, next winter in South Texas. But first I have to get my current neck
situation resolved. Life is full of plan A's and plan B's, just have to find a happy way to go through both.

off to water my plants. And open the greenhouse door or it gets too hot in there. I need a remote control door opener...

No, it’s just the aliens messing with you..... I am no where near Roswell.... technically closer to Dulce.... where their underground base is located....

Btw, I probably would have tried to load that nail gun the same way your son did. Mine pulls back and latches before you can load.

So that’s why your house is small, you live in a bunker underneath.

And now it’s covered in snow, so I’ll never find it.

Ron if that is a squirrel I have never seen a black one

Used to have a black squirrel where I used to work. I’ve seen a few of them around.

I've never been audited yet

Me, neither. BUT . . . many, many years ago when I was making very little money, and had no family and no deductions . . . how many remember the little card form with no more than 7 lines on it, that you could use to file the shortest no deduction return. Well, one year I got a letter from the IRS that my return was one that was randomly selected for audit and an error was found on line number (I forgot the number) and that I would be receiving a $10 refund. I checked the copy I had kept and there was NO error. But I got a check from $10 from the IRS, so I spent it.

I have same crane and press. My press is setting on 2 4' railroad ties. Looks like you have a air/hydraulic jack setting next to press. Great add to press.
