Ls xr3135 diagnostic port?

My tractor had a obd2 plug but after chatting with the service department that told me there is a second one that only the dealer can use. Anyone know whare its located?

My Dealer removed the lower dash cover and it was on the left-hand side. He came out and did a software update.

I didn't really check it out. He just removed the lower dash cover and hooked up his computer. There should be some kind of empty connector on the left side (foot brake side).

There is an obd2 on the right side by the throttle pedal. The dealer told me that use a specific plug for there diagnostic tool and not the obd2.

See if there might be a usb port. My Dealer mentioned that future computer software updates may come via thumb drive so he doesn't have to travel all over the State doing updates.

Are you sure that you understood him correctly? The one in the cab is diagnostic and programming. They do use a specific interface between the obd and the laptop.

On new holland models the plug is used for both but on the ls it is a obd2 with only can communications.

On your boomer how many wires go to your diagnostic port. I assume you have the standard 9 pin connector but wonder how many pins are used

You've made 7 posts now asking about this and haven't even hinted at why you want to know or why you haven't asked the dealer. If this is something only a dealer can use for whatever reason, why does it matter to you?

CAN high and CAN low is what is used for diagnostic and programming.

As far as pins, it is A, B, C, D.

I am asking because I have access to a new holland dealer scan tool. Ls and new holland use different plugs and when I asked the ls dealer that told me there is a different plug thay thay use and not the obd2. Thay said obd2 was just thare because it was mandatory.
