I was wondering if it was the bag or the chemicals used in the metal finishing process?

Funny thing.... it was supposed to result in safer products as manufactures tried to remove those things from their products to avoid having to put a "scary" label on it. And in some cases it worked. But at this point, these warnings are on so many things just to cover their *** just in case, that it's become a joke and people just don't even care anymore. IMO, it no longer has any value or effect.

And stuff like this is why the rest of the country looks at California and rolls their eyes and shake their head...

I see that Prop 65 warning on lots of things I buy, I think cobalt drill bits has that warning to.

If you were a manufacturer, I wonder if you went to buy a package of the Prop 65 stickers to place on you drill bits it would have a Prop 65 sticker on the bag of Prop 65 stickers.
