Drinking last cup of coffee. 45ー with rain this morning. Heading to 35ー with off and on rain. Sure am glad it has been warm enough that we got rain instead of snow. 1.5" of rain since yesterday morning. Feeling much better today. Dr wants me to go on Atorvastatin to help Triglycerides. But with history of these type of drugs. I am not rushing into it. Have a OSB type shelf over wash tub in utility room that needs replacing. Will work on that today.

David, I have a couple of those projects that I wish I had done different in the first place. Thanks for the pic's.

Thomas, must have gotten E-muffin restocked.

Check, aren't some those cities part of the GTA.

Drew, sounds like a good chance to take lots of pictures of a tractor project. Reminds me of the bridge at Don's old place.

A picture of one of my pet dogwoods that was nailed last year by an icing event.:(

Sleet and freezing drizzle is now mixing into the existing mix and puddled later is starting to skin over.

Nope. World rankings of the best big city drivers rank Toronto 13th out of the top 100, and in a local Canadian study Halifax was the worst. And here in the province of Ontario, the Toronto Sun reported that smaller places like Orangeville, Bradford, Woodstock, Saulte Ste. Marie, Bradford, and Orillia had the worst driving records(all given “D” grades), whereas Toronto was given an “A” grade. So Bill, on your next trip down Hwy 11 and Hwy 400 to Toronto, try and avoid Orillia and Bradford, and stay away from Orangeville - otherwise, you might not make it!

I usually run 11 South to 169 at Washago, take that to 12 South to 48 and continue. Very seldom do I see the 401 or the 400. My boat is outside Beaverton, so that route makes sense to me.

Shortly after I last posted, the juice went out, this time for about an hour. It is back on now, after I went to the trouble of changing the sump pump over to the genny plug and getting the genny running. My stepson will change it back when he drags his sorry butt out of bed. Maybe.

Good Morning All.

Nope. All out in the countryside. Closest one is prolly Bradford - about 50 miles.

All I got was side effects no help with waking up at night to go.

I致e been taking Flomax for about six months, not sure if it痴 affected my dizziness as I have vertigo anyway, the biggest difference I致e seen is stronger stream with less residual in the bladder. I still get up once a night.

Good morning! It's 33° with clear skies this morning and high should be 63° this afternoon. It looks to b3 a sunny day.

Last ranch guests left Friday ... wife and grand daughter got all the Christmas decorations put away Saturday then they headed back to Richmond yesterday. Now I need to run the iRobot to clean the floors ... as you can imagine glitter everywhere.

Finally some peace and quiet ... first time in over a week. I didn't wake up until after 6 a.m. this morning.

I need to take the Corvette into town this morning and get a state inspection ... while our exterminator does our quarterly treatment.

It sounds like everyone had a nice Christmas and hoping for a great New Years.

Prayers to all.

Good route. Avoids a lot of traffic, and we do take it sometimes, and then run South on the 404 and then West on Finch to Yonge.

Funny, we have had NO power outrage here at the cottage near Dorset - YET. But Hydro One emailed us a few hours ago saying to expect WIDESPREAD power outages. (They have never done that before.) I see freezing rain on the deck right now, so walking the dog this morning will be a real adventure! (SWMBO has broken her arm twice already falling on ice, so I can't let her do it - LOL.)

65 and showers, feels like spring this morning, high around 70. All my company is home, my in laws are mostly well, Mom is doing good, all in all not too bad.
I’m feeling really well over the last 4-5 days, I guess the repair is kicking in. Got a pork roast with bite size potatoes and carrots in the slow cooker. I’ve been watching my food intake and I’ve lost about 10 lbs, I’m sure that helps.
Have a good day all, prayers.

36°F and light snow flurries this morning, going up to 39° today. Been warm here all last week, now a couple of cold days, then a return to the 40s and 50s to start the new year.

Xmas went off without a hitch this year. Both of her boys came over for Xmas morning brunch - although neither of the girfriends made it due to their family commitments - and we continued to eat entirely too much food. We still have a ton of cookies and fudge left. After they're gone, I may not eat another cookie for six months. I mean, I love cookies, but ... wow.

Stayed in most of the rest of the week and weekend. Spent most of it working on new stuff in the studio. Yesterday, we took down all the inside decorations. Rain most of the day postponed the outside stuff until next weekend.

Another short week at work - day-and-a-half - this week. Still not hating it.

And Jay, Boston is listed among America's 25 most accident prone cities (by QuoteWizaed Insurance News), but it is ranked 21st worst out of 25. (The worst is Columbus, Ohio.)

Having lived in Columbus Ohio, I find that very hard to believe.
