what a warm morning to wake up to, a real heat wave, 67 degrees outside, heading up to 73 in rain for most of day, then more seasonable cold air comes in.
Mostly no CoQ10 it messed with triglycerides Dr took me off.
I take these daily, was told to, but did not know of downside. Thanks for info. I had to get off statins due to cramping, need to watch cholesterol carefully.
spent several hours yesterday taking down inside xmas decorations, still have tree to take out and put on burn pile, have to get lights off first, all the rest is done.
Was going to do outside lights and decorations today but likely to get rained out.
christmas tree smells even more "piney" now than when put up, smells nice in house. Rather get tree out sooner vs later, cuts down on big mess of pine needles flinging
everywhere when going through doorway.
I suppose I could take the tree all the way out into the woods and let it be a habitat for something.
Made decision to put in a 36 inch tile near rv shed, over main drainage ditch, six feet deep, allowing access to far side and ten acres of pond/swamp behind my home. My landscaper said the pipe is about 800 bucks for 20 feet section. Have to wonder if I need the width, this is a little pathway into the woods. Landscaper said tile will support a lot of weight and he can do it easily within a day. He only charges 50 bucks an hour for two men, including him. And since he has several years experience in excavation, using bulldozers and excavators, frankly he'll do it way better than I could. I built the small culvert near my fruit orchard, but this is much bigger and I'm sure that piece of plastic corrugated pipe is pretty heavy. Good use for my topsoil pile but will have a truck or two of gravel coming in. The gravel is a mixture of mediums and smalls, and some dust, after several rains, it hardens up like concrete. Landscaper loves using my big Massey and so far no scratches.
My dream was always to have a path to the pond, clear out some surrounding trees so sun can come down and attract migrating birds.
Huge cypress trees coming out of pond.
Put some seating down there so one can watch the birds.
Now that I'm no longer farming I will have more time to do these other projects.
I'll build side railings out of wood for the culvert, have to protect little kids going across.
