Ford Motor Co. announced a recall Friday of 231,664 heavy-duty pickup trucks to check for unintended opening of tailgates caused by a faulty latch release.

They recalled that one for a faulty airbag and reports of the ABS system not working.

I like it. Works really well and I can have the tailgate opened up for loading before I get to the rear of the truck because you can activate it from the remote. I'm always amused by people who get indignant about something they don't own. You need to learn to relax and not let things you don't own or want bother you so much.

It doesn’t upset me. I don’t own own one and never willingly will but it doesn’t mean I won’t laugh at it. Personally I think a regular pickup tailgate is ridiculous power assist or not. I’d trade all my hammer for glass hammers before I bought a regular bed pickup again.
