I said,

“Several tractor dealers or implement dealers have come and gone from TBN, including Messicks and sweet. Not sure why the fuss over RK, especially from some that don’t own one.”

RK is a dealer of tractors
Messicks is a dealer
Sweet is a dealer
EA makes implements
Kens Bolton hooks
The top and tilt guy

They, and others like them, have been on TBN representing their products, yet people want to bash RK for doing it.

I don’t get the holier than thou attitude.

Even the Morgan’s post on TBN.

Since you quoted me I'll assume the "Holier than Though" comment is directed at me....

I've supported RK in this venture since the start. I still have faith in their tractor product. I have little faith in their ability to provide stable support to said product. If that indicates "holier that though" then I must be. For that I apologize.

Wasn’t meant to be directed at you.

I just don’t get the different reaction to RK than others that have done the same thing of talking to customers on TBN.

I wish RK well in their tractor sales. I looked at their tractors and was impressed at the value.
I liked the info RK provided on here.

I confess, I only watched 45 seconds of that video.

So who are the Morgans in reference to RK

Should watch other Morgan's videos.
Melissa has a great figure.

I think one of the differences in RK is that they sold tractors in the past, then stopped. At least at our local stores, about 10 years ago, they had several tractors of varying sizes, some had cabs, FEL's, etc... I think they were Photon, but can't recall for sure. I always wondered who would service them, etc... then they went away. Years go by, and RK starts selling tractors again. I asked about the ones they sold in the past. They didn't know what brand they were, who serviced them, etc... So yes, based on past observations of how that first venture went, I was skeptical of the new venture. That's why I asked some questions to the new guy. Then I sat back and watched the conversations. Then the new guy was gone. Then the next new guy showed up, stating something about no one at RK knowing he's doing this, etc... then it started looking good. Then he's gone.

At the very least, someone from RK might want to step up and say, we messed up. We don't have the ability to do web support on public forums. For any questions, comments, concerns, service, sales, etc.... please visit our website or stop by one of our stores that carries tractors. It would clear a lot of stuff up for the public. :)

I think RK tried to introduce their main line of online and dealer support back in July when RK Tractor Guy posted this:
-----------
"All,
Mark Twain once said after newspapers printed his obituary "reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated." Please forgive my absence after being engaged more frequently on this forum in the past. We opened our "Ask the RK Tractor Guy" customer portal early this year so customers and prospective customers can get a quick and accurate response to their questions about rk tractors. It has been working very well, we get many questions daily on a range of topics from pricing, availability, financing, operating, trade-ins, manuals, maintenance, repair, delivery, etc. This portal allows us to answer directly to the person that has the interest. As some of you have commented, RK Tractors is growing very fast, and the customer portal is a way for us to better support existing and potential customers. In order to make these questions and our answers available to a broader audience, we will be adding an extensive knowledge base capability to rktractors.com later this year. Every inquiry goes into our customer relationship management (CRM) system so we can better understand what people want to know, and improve our ability to deliver information without even having to ask us.

As most of you can see by the RK Tractors banner ads, we support TBN with a substantial advertising investment, and consider Muhammad and his team great partners.

My movement away from regularly posting on TBN came about as the topics and the scale of information sharing needed to effectively manage customer and prospective customer inquiries grew much larger. We still follow the forum, our team has grown, we see the questions (and the critics), and use this information to make our public information better. We also PM individuals to assist. Regular users of TBN forums know that one person's sincere interest in a topic can come off the rails quickly as some respondents look for opportunities to share info that is incorrect, or use the opportunity to bash. Never understood that part, but we do understand that we are getting noticed by competitors. That was our goal, it means that we are seeing success.

For those that needing anything from us, please use this link to select a topic and tell us what we can do to assist. It is easy and it works well. Yes, we can sometimes slip up and not get back right away, but nearly all inquiries are responded to within 24 hours, most much sooner.

------------

I know most of us consider this site as the center of the tractor world, but in reality a very small percentage of RK potential or current customers are on here. RK is marketing to the customers of their stores, through email and mailers. I see more marketing material from them than most of the other tractor brands combined. I don't own and RK tractor, so I can't speak for how their support is.

The first RK guy explained the history, and why this tome they built a support system for their tractors.
TSC made a brief splash with tractors yrs ago, and quickly exited due to no support.

Yes. However, even though he explained it, many people doubted it, due to past experience and observation. I hope they make a go of it. I really do. I think the market is saturated with small-mid-size tractor brands. I hope it becomes profitable enough for them to continue and expand.

Me too. And I think TYM builds a solid tractor.
