Error code 008 NX4510

I’ve been thinking about Kioti and the other brands lately. I have a 2004 lk3054xs TLB. I have 450 hours and I’ve mostly stored under cover. I purchased with 150 hours in 2008 or so. I’ve replaced every backhoe valve seal and I have small leak in front axle housing seal and rear axle housing gasket. I’ve replaced negative battery cable and a hose on injector pump and of course filters and lubricants. And my PTO clutch is tough to disengage and typically the PTO keeps spinning wether or not I press pedal to full extension. In the end I’ve had it apart a bunch of times for the valve body seals on the backhoe other than that nothing overly serious. In comparison I had a Kubota B6000e, which was 30 or more years old and god only knows how many hours. I changed an idler pulley on fan belt and that was it. The thing was pretty much indestructible and the loader had no hydraulic leaks of any kind. And I ran motor oil or the like for hydraulic fluid maybe power steering fluid, can’t remember. Interesting how bullet proof the Japanese build machines can be.

My previous tractor was a John Deere 850.
It was made by Yanmar in Japan. These tractors appeared to have a good reputation for quality/reliability from most everything I read about them.
Mine was no different, I had it for years and it was a good reliable tractor for me. Sold it with around 1850 hours.
So far I've had similar results with my Kioti DK 35.
I've owned my DK for 18 years (2215 hours) and its been a very reliable tractor for me.
Its been every bit as reliable as my 850 was, and still working as smooth and tight as when it was new.

And your a highly respected and objective poster DK, 2k hours with nothing significant is really something. I’m thinking some of my bits are likely associated in part with limited regular use and long periods of sitting. The backhoe o-rings are simply crap but at least an easy and cheap fix. I’ll take that over bad valve gear or main bearings. I’m really looking forward to OP getting sorted and back in the saddle!

Yes they are, and I believe the 23xx series backhoes were known for that issue. Could be wrong but don't recall reading those complains on the 24xx.

Kioti (not dealers) in my limited exposure is also unresponsive to customer inquiries.

I still believe the Kioti machine itself is a great value, head to head specs with others on many levels.
However, their business model, customer service appears to run by a culture that failed basic business school instructions.
OK, rant over......we know that no factory machine color reads our posts......but it helps to vent at times.....

Now my work is complete, did the winter cut for customer. So whenever the MLS valve comes in.......hang in there fellas.....
Maybe Kioti will wake up, if enough customers tell the dealers how the factory is on the losing end......

If I knew what I know today about Kioti support I would never had bought this tractor. I would have just gone out and found an older low hour used machine without all the electronic and Teir IV BS.

Wow just amazing they are doing this, I’ve had good luck with my issues I had a few years back. If or when I have issues again and have anything like this I’ll be switching brands for sure.

The new camo paint paint from Kioti. It hides your tractor so that nobody can steal it. I didn't have enough to paint the FEL.

I know we do on automobiles. I should check on tractors. Right about now that would be fine with me to end this BS. I have been delayed on my repairs long enough.

Check out Ma. Implied warranty law. May get you going in the right direction. Lemon law looks to be automobile. But looks like there’s other laws on the books. May at least get Kioti’s attention. Also, I’ve seen cases on YouTube where guys have found ways to get satisfaction I’d search there as well.

I sent an email to the AG's Office today about my ongoing problem and asked about the "Implied Warranty" on a product.

The AG's Office got back to me about my issue and stated that I either needed to call them or file a written complaint. I will be calling them tomorrow along with calling Kioti. 3 Months and 3x being repaired for the same problem. My understanding from a previous dealer call is that Kioti is not being much help. That could be related to the computer hackjob they had and the long time that they were down, not sure. Plus their phones were out after a hurricane. They replaced the #2 fuel injector. They ran tests on it and it came back normal. I don't know why but they ran tests on it again and it came back bad. They went out and bought a new laptop thinking that it may be the issue. Retest showed more normal but other issues present. Not sure what they are. They sent the error codes off to Kioti for assistance once again. Kioti has the say as in what to do and what to replace when a tractor is under warranty.
