With the leaves falling I have been bringing my cordless Stihl blower to work... It is so much quieter than the gas model the landscapers use makes it perfect to use close in to the Hospital main lobby and waiting rooms.

I really like my husky cordless for blowing leaves outta the house garage and off the porch. You can use it, then go to work, church, etc without smelling like 2 stroke exhaust.

Just read this article in Popular Mechanics Sept '19 titled, "Your Next Saw will be Electric". Thought the included comparison of brand performance was relevant to this conversation. Glad I 'settled' on Stihl!

I might consider adding one to the collection for certain task but I won’t be giving up my 372xp for firewood cutting any time soon.

Using the Stihl around the tree farm convinced me. The next year the farm added 2 more

I can see the time savings starting it making one cut. Tree surgeons working in a tree another big benefit. For cutting several cords of firewood not so great.

You'd be surprised how many cords I've cut with my EGO battery saws. I'll never go back to gas.

The echo was looking mighty fine until I noticed the weight. 14lbs, what's it got a car battery?

I noticed that. My 372 weighs 13.4 pounds. The 14 pounds probably includes the bar and the 13.4 pounds doesn’t but no thanks. I know which one will cut faster.
