Mounted new FM BH8 backhoe today for 1st time. Just picked it up Tues. Took a few days to assemble due to wx and other things.
Seems very well built and very nice fit and finish. My Kioti bh was a subframe so this was quite different. Have to be very close to hookup PTO for hydraulics. I can see where having a proper dolly will be quite an asset. Thinking sometime in future I may convert to a subframe, but would have to custom build.

Controls are ISO configuration, so I either relearn or change plumbing. A bit counter intuitive that dipper movement is opposite of valve.

Didn’t get any productive work done as current project requires just a small bucket or maybe the ripper. Unfortunately neither would mount, bushings on inside of mounting plates.

Will be contacting dealer for resolution

I guess there’s no standard for BH buckets? Are the mounts different for various BH makers?

I believe you are right. Years ago I was in need of a narrow bucket for my Kioti. Friend offered his Kubota bucket. Not even close.
An internet search revealed all sorts of variance. Maybe things are better these day, don’t know and hoped to avoid by buying with the bh.
I’m guessing I could either grind these down and wonder if strong enough or take to a shop and have them fix. No idea the expense.
Will wait for instructions from Betstco.

Looks good when you get the extra bucket and ripper working let us know how they work and if worth buying!

On my Boomer 40, XR3140, I rewelded the hydro pedal stops. Had to raise them about an inch to get full travel. Noticed the problem when the GPS speed would only read half of the stated speed going forward and a little less in reverse.

From what I saw on the dealership lot the tops models were fine but the cab models had the same problem mine has.

Nothing (again). And it's getting lonely (again).

I did spend a few hours working on the newly renovated house (OK, shed) for it if that matters.

Continuing to build more burn piles, from tree trimming.

We enjoy "Chipping" rather than "Burning". This past summer's wildfires were chokingly smokey and nasty and we'd rather not add to the stink.

Ok then.

I'll bet you'd really enjoyed "chipping" this?
