Sorry, I couldn't find this answered anywhere else.
I'm wondering about the side to side stability of a cab tractor (XR3135HC to be exact) vs ROP
On my JD 3032E I could run my brush hog along my ditch on each side (fairly steep banks) without rolling over (although it felt like it was going to a lot).
Will the cab add too much weight on top and make it more likely to tip? Or will I still be able to brush hog the ditch?

The simple answer is yes, the cab will make your tractor more top-heavy because it adds weight above the axle line and changes the moment around the center of gravity. The more complex answer involves the variables of ur particular tractor such as wheel stance, filled or unfilled tires, positioning of the front end loader during mowing (if installed), etc. if you felt uneasy at times mowing before you will most likely not feel any better with the cab. Whether or not you will tip I can’t say.

My opinion only, if it's that sketchy, I stay off of it.

Any pictures of the ditch?

Most tractors have wheels that can be flipped around in different configurations to widen the stance. If you feel like you need more stability, make the stance wider.

Looking at an online manual, it appears your rear wheels can go from 45.9" to 52.7" measured at centerline of the wheel.

Thank you. I did not know that but it sure makes sense how that would add to the stability.
And thank you for your service!

I don't remember mine being tippy. I did however fill the tires this spring and that keeps it pretty planted. I did the fluid for loader work.

The LS R3 and R4 rims I don't believe can be flipped side to side cause they are already dished out as far as they will go. The R1 rims are adjustable.

Mine are filled R4's. I guess that's why the dealer didn't ask about which direction to put the rims.

You still have the option of wheel spacers.

Some folks won't use 'em. Many folks DO.
