Thanks, I知 going to the hardware store tomorrow and I値l see what they have, I値l probably put some silicone sealer around the area that the frame sits in just to keep any water out, I知 sure it would be fine without it but might as well use it since I have it.

Can I ask why do you guys even keep these lights mounted? Just curious, because I'm thinking to just remove them altogether, unless there's a reason I shouldn't.

You should keep proper lights mounted for hazards, direction and general lighting in the instance your mowing or traveling on road sides or down roads to mark your vehicle (along with the SMV triangle). Beyond that, you could remove them but be careful of leaving electrical plugs open to the environment as corrosion on the plug could become an issue

I do have to get out on public road because I have no way to cross a creek to get to back side of my property... Love the emergency flasher for road use other wise I would get run over at 14MPH...

Yeh, mine's ain't going anywhere other than down our private road to a neighbor's maybe, so off with the lights.

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but can anyone give me a heads up how to disconnect them? I know where the plug is, but not for sure if you just pull that connector apart, twist it, or what? I tried pulling them apart a little but no give, so didn't want to wreck the connector doing it the wrong way with too much force.

They are just push in, pull out ...

Thanks fellas, my rops are now officially rocking the clean shaven look.

I wanted to keep the lights on the outside (more room when using backhoe), so I installed springs to let the lights flex if I get to close to a tree etc.

I am a little surprised that folding or flexible lights are not an option (standard for some). They are so common for wing mirrors on cars. The road we are on is short and seldom used. I may go clean shaven, too.

Where'd you get the springs?
