Alemite(R) 18V 8, psi Hand Held Lithium Grease Gun With Two(2) Batteries
| Fastenal

Delivers 8,000 psi

After you run 3-4 tubes of grease you'll be glad for the battery option. I had a Lincoln and it was junk. How people still use the hand pump style is beyond me. I can get in areas unreachable with only one hand once I connect the valve. Hold down the trigger and fill er up. Greasing by had used to be work, now it's actually reasonable to do the same job.

Not practical for most of us. Not spending nearly $900 for a grease gun. Hard for some of us to justify a $200 Dewalt.

It may be appropriate for a heavy equipment mechanic who needs to pump grease all day, but for most of us, yea a $200 Dewalt is more than adequate

"a $200 DeWalt is more than adequate"????
The $60 Lincoln pneumatic #1162 is "more than adequate" for me.
I grease two machines....two or three times each year.

If they work for you, more power to you!
I will take my dewalt

I am absolutely certain I would love your DeWalt too.
It is simply the DeWalt PRICE I dislike.

DeWalt = $265 on Amazon.
Lincoln pneumatic= $71 on Amazon ($60 elsewhere)

Well....
Let me relate this to your Ford tractor you recently sold...
I defended you in it as well.
Many people liked the tractor, but felt the price was way to high
You felt the price was justifiable......

:confused3:

I guess it is all in how you view something.....

Oh...... you are absolutely correct
As I stated above:
I am certain I would love the DeWalt, but for two tractors, and a total of 30 hours each year, I am very happy to keep the $200 difference, to be spent on something else.
Short of unlimited funds, it is all about priorities.

As to the naysayers on the Ford 3400: They were simply ...... WRONG!
It sold to the first person who looked at it!

Yup, and if it makes me want to grease my $50K worth of equipment more regularly than I did with my POS 5- manual grease guns I have hanging on the wall, I will buy another $189 Dewalt grease gun if I need some day

That was kinda my logic when I bought mine. And so far it’s working.
