Well,..... you cannot see my reserve,..... so I don't understand your "reserve must be too high" comment.
If you think the reserve should be under "$3150", you obviously have absolutely no idea what a TLB like this is actually worth?
The 3400 TLB I am selling is in the best condition anyone will find anywhere.
The reserve is WELL above $3150.
If the machine doesn't sell I will keep it, and will consider selling the Kubota L48 instead.

That’s 2 wd and doesn’t have a shuttle shift transmission. I don’t know how much he wants for it but it’s nearing a fair price IMO.

Apparently you are unfamiliar with E-Bay.
When the bidding is started low ($100 in this case), and early bids need be only $2.50 apart, (at current price, bids need be only $25 apart), there can be MANY bids.
Number of bids usually has little or no relationship to final auction price.

If you had looked a bit more carefully, you would have observed that there is one bidder (with zero feedback) who has (now) made 54 bids.
54 bids under my reserve, absolutely DOES "say something" to ME!
It says to me that there is one bidder who does not know what he is doing!
There are actually only TWO different bidders since the $200 bid.
What do YOU think.... that..... "should say"?

This isn’t an insult but an actual question. How much do you think it’s worth compared to A your Kubota backhoe and similar models or B a 90s era full size TLB? On one hand it’s in very good condition. On the other hand it’s ancient, 2wd, gasoline and not a shuttle shift transmission. This might be one of the things that’s worth more to the owner than anyone else. I wouldn’t sell my 1 ton dump truck for a price anyone is likely to pay.

It may be worth a lot more than you might think, to someone who wants a medium size hoe,.... and cannot afford one, with 4WD, shuttle shift, cab with A/C, heated seat, stereo radio, and cup holder.
1 ton dump trucks are widely available as compared to medium sized TLBs
The machine is a gem! It is in like new condition!
Like you would be, with your 1 ton dump, I am not at all excited to see it go.
It is an industrial machine, strong as an ox, and will do TEN times the work of the small hoes that many here on TBM have on their tractors,..... and they pay big bucks for those 8' reach or less, weak breakout force hoes.
We shall see!
Time, and the auction ending, will tell!

It will do TEN times the work that the hoes many here on TBM have on their tractors,..... and they pay big bucks for their short reach, weak little hoes

Perhaps no one now on here remembers, that 4 years ago I sold my 1986 GMC Jimmy 6.2L diesel with 165,000 miles for $8200.
It was 29 years old.......but in near perfect condition (had been repainted twice).
The buyer had it trucked (1500 miles) to MIA, and then had it shipped to the Bahamas.

But: If I am to follow the logic in posts above:

The Jimmy was 29 years old
Had 165,000 miles
Did not have a navigation system
Did not have digital instruments
Did not have 4 wheel disc brakes
Did not have ABS brakes
Did not have heated seats
Did not have push button start
There was only one cup holder
Did not have side warning sensors
Did not have either side air bags
Did not have DEF/DPF, or any other state of the art engine gagging controls.
The tailgate did not swing both up and sideways
The headlights were not halogen
Had a very low quality non stereo AM/FM radio
Was only a two door + tailgate vehicle
The rear side windows did not open
Rear seat entry was only by manual tilt of passenger seat.

As implied above: I probably should have tried to give it away,....... or maybe just junked it instead!

My BAD NEWS:
Those nasty/greedy folks at E-Bay took $200

I only got to keep $8000,..... which coincidentally, is EXACTLY what I paid for it used.....25 years prior!

When I was tractor shopping two years ago there was a 4500 TLB advertised for $7500; it didn't last long enough for me to even look at it.

it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I don't see any WOW, it's a nice antique value, also, the availability of parts will be an issue, unless this is favored by an enthusiast who will make custom made parts for this. there are some much older tractors that have had that done. but they are real antiques..
