FEL mounted tree limb trimmer

Run the control cable to a bicycle lever attached to the hydraulic control.

Attach the chainsaw to the holder.

This'll get me up to at least 25 feet.

Start by trimming the lower branches.
This one is about 10 feet up.

Continue trimming up there.

Done.
My power line is safe for the next few years.

Finished the other dozen or so trees.
Disconnected and disassembled the thing.
Returned the board, rope, and such to stock.

Maybe a $100 into this...

Feeling some inspiration.....

I have an FEL, an electric (Remington) pole saw, a piece of 20' fence top rail, some guy wire, an extension cord, a switch or two and a tree hanging over a telephone pole (no power line on it).

Not sure if I have the guts or not though.
