4 week wait is up, now I have to wait an unknown amount of further time. This is going to have me checking my email constantly.

Just got the email that mine shipped, will be 7 weeks when it gets to the freight station. Don't drive yourself too crazy just yet!

Material, workmanship, efficiency of the design, customer service, long term reviews, and I'm sure others can think of more. Even the simplest of tools can be refined.

You figured it out. The new Wicked66 grapple testing video we're getting ready to upload to our YouTube channel can be added to the list. I also went live in the EA Channel Group as we were shooting it yesterday. Pretty wild footage with our M6-141 Kubota.

In case any of you guys missed our newest grapple beat down video, here's the footage.
It was intended to be a short live video for the Everything Attachments Channel group, but we brought the good camera along and decided to put it on YouTube for the world.

Ted's idea of climbing a tree is in the Kubota M6 with a Wicked 66 Root Rake Grapple!

That's how you take down a tree

He's getting good at it, heavy! The M6 is surely a pushing Beast.

The tire came off the rim a couple of times during the shooting of our last two videos and it was all captured on camera.
The video is somewhat educational in possibly a twisted, dangerous Ted kinda way, but, either way, I think it is entertaining and PEANUT CAN TALK!!!
Travis

Check it out here:

Love the video that's how you fix a tire in the field. Nice looking tractor!

What was Ted spraying into the tire?

Thanks guys! Yeah, it was ether/starting fluid. I've seen it done without a trail on the ground. More distance = better!!

...it was ether/starting fluid.

Handiest way in the world to seat the bead on a tire that's out of shape. I just found out about it on You-tube a few years ago. I spent way too many years wrestling with a rope or chain wrapped around the tire and a stick to twist it with.

Sometimes you just got to get it done when out in the field.

Sometimes you just got to get it done when out in the field.

Sure as heck beats having to take it off the tractor and back to the shop! I'm gonna put that little trick in the memory for future use.

Congratulations, Ted, on your new facility. Here is a follow up on my bent Wicked.

...Over the phone while standing in front of my crippled 72-inch Wicked, Travis gently pointed out that my 6,000 pound, four wheel drive Mahindra 5555 might benefit from the heavy duty 73-inch Wicked for mega utility tractors.

After I abused a Wicked for more than three years, Ted weighed in and went above and beyond to work with me and made me an offer to get into the big heavy duty 73 inch Wicked that I couldn't refuse...

In the end, I didn't take that offer and decided to let Ted off the hook and have my cousin repair my 72 inch single lid. Cousin Dave knows how to weld and he owes me big time. (I've been letting him hunt on my property for nine years free, even though I've been offered as much as $8,000 a year.)

To straighten out the bent frame, we chained the lid shut. Cousin Dave applied heat to the frame around the bracket while I fondled the power beyond lever. That hydraulic cylinder straightened the frame member good. Cousin Dave reinforced the bracket area with plate and gusset. However, don't make our mistake and cut the bracket out of the frame member because the frame member bent back a little. But we got it within tolerance for continued hard service.

Here is an example. This ancient black walnut tree split almost in half. Black walnut is so dense and heavy, we cut it into manageable pieces to haul it to the burn pile. Could not have done this job without the Wicked.

I'm no engineer and never built anything but if EA made the bracket for the hydraulic cylinder
a combination hinge/bracket I think it would take much of the stress off the frame.
The current design allows the hydraulic cylinder to push the center of the frame
away from the lid which is hinged on the ends, spreading them apart.
