When i was young, we tapped a couple maple trees in our yard and made a little syrup. Yum.

And no side dish of corn beef hash? Truly sacrileges. Worse no poutine? If one wants to gum up the works why skimp?

I have not eaten a Big Mac in ~ year. Somehow it meets some primitive needs, but....

Dog poo shoveled; staked Brogen's tether replacing the woodcart anchor; tractor needed some time on the battery charger/starter, but started with no evidence of H2O in the fuel system and ran well; the installed ROP auxiliary lights needed some work = a fuse and the universal connectors needed replaced and are now working. A fair amount of activity today; sore/stiff, and still semi functional. I'll sleep well (hopefully) tonight.

good evening all. 51F for the start, overcast, light wind. wind was up, thunder at about 5:30AM, rain started about 7AM, 2.8 in rain gauge so far. Temps dropped during the day low temp is the current 44F. No bike ride today, went to town for groceries and dinner. Working on trip preparations, forgot to get battery for wireless sending unit on bike. Finished routes and they are now on GPS. Weather looks good for ride in Kerrville next weekend.
RNG great video.
Rick and Randy thanks for vette info and pics
Jay as others have said pace your self, if Mr. Knee needs time to react give him time :2cents:
Bill, glad trip to town went well, sorry about the boring training:yuck:
Drew interesting story about the almost simultaneous car crash :scratchchin:
Ted thanks for teaching us SNIRT:confused:
prayers for all.

36 °F and going to a high of 36. Wind NW 14 mph. Periods of snow.
So far, nothing.

I've got half of the pile of snow moved away from the deck, but that is all I can do until the snow I am standing on melts down some more. There is a two foot drop to the ground level and I don't want the tractor sitting with the rear wheels in the drop and the fronts up on top.

I changed the Schladge keyless deadbolt lock on the front door to a keyed type. The keyless one locked me out early Saturday morning and inserting the key in the lock (it goes both ways), unlocked the door but then it wouldn't let go of the key. The keyless lock is off to the dump today during the weekly dump run.

Have a good day all

Dog poo shoveled;

JB, I was about to ask what sort of food is poutine, but when you slipped from that, to a Big Mac, to dog poo in three easy sentences, maybe I don't want to know

My daughter was given some trial packs of food snacks at a taster event for a large grocery chain. Couldn't help but think of Drew when I saw the unique flavouring on this packet of pork scratchings :D

You would have consume a lot of beer before ever wanting to eat the extruded mini turds that were inside.

JB, I was about to ask what sort of food is poutine,

Poutine is a French Canadian dish. French fries with cheese curd on top and smothered in beef gravy. It is really good IF you like cheese curd and don't have a 'problem' with dairy products.
