How many hours do you have on your tractor

I'm at 178 hours on my L3400. Bought March 2009. Might I say, its not heavily used?

My B2650 was bought new in January 2016 and now has 410 hours. Much of that was renovating an old orchard and landscaping a new house. Pretty much I would figure 60 to 80 hours a year from now on.

just a technicality for recorded hrs on tractors with mechanical rpm hr meter. usually on those, 1 recorded hr on engine= 1 hr @ 550 pto engine rpm which is usually around 2250 engine rpm.

so actually there can be more "engine hrs" on a tractor than recorded when engine rpm falls below 2250 or so on those mechanically linked rpm/hr meters
know this may be a mute point, but can come into play for example when considering purchasing a rental with lots of low or idle rpm conditions. just something to consider......

My 2004, JD4310 is the first tractor I've owned that had a working hour meter. It is reading 1280 right now. There is no way to know if it has been replaced. I plan to check it for accuracy one of these days. I noticed after mowing the other day I had put two hours on the meter. I have been writing the hours on a piece of tape and sticking it on the dash because the fuel gauge isn't accurate. I have calculated fuel use to be around .7 GPH by the hour meter.

My former little tractor, a JD855, had an hour meter that stopped working at 2300 hours. I ran it 5+ years and sold it with no apparent degradation in it's performance. I didn't log my time using it and have no idea how many hours I put on it. There is no telling how many hours it ran after the meter quit before I bought it.

I bought my NH 575E off ebay and the seller told me it had 3000 hours on it. When it arrived it had the glass broken on the meter and obvious signs the thousand hour numeral had been pried down to read 3xxx. Of course it no longer worked after the damage I assume the seller inflicted on it. I ended up working on it for several weeks before it would stay running to do any work with. BUT the engine runs fine and doesn't use much if any oil. It's a 99 that began life as a municipal owned unit so I'm betting it had over 5000 hours.

My 2011 BX has 1500 hours on it. Still runs and works as good as when new. Have spent $0 on major repairs, most minor stuff I do my self. Age is showing in damages to plastic parts. It sets outside all the time so oxidation of paint is there. It will probably take $500 in misc small parts to correct appearance items and a couple electrical glitches that do not affect functionality.

Two years ago tried to sell it. Many inquires but as soon as they learned Hrs on it no one was interested any more no matter the price. I have a few more outside projects for it at our current place and then will not need it any more. Will probably have to virtually give it away. Seems the SCUT used market is centered on <500 HRs, based on comments I read here and elsewhere.

I'm pretty sure someone would buy it with those hours and more, someone like myself wouldn't think that is alot of hours, seems low to me.

1500 hrs would not bother me if the machine was cared for. It has a lot of like left in it.

The hours wouldn't bother me.
The setting outside all the time is what would bring the value way down if I was buying..

Mine has around 1200 on it. Runs great and appearance is a little rough but appearance isn't the reason I bought it.

BX2200 has about 950 on it. I have several acres to mow, and use this one for mowing with a belly mower. No major repairs.

B7410 has just over 300 on it. It had just under a hundred when I bought it a little over two years ago. I use it with the rotary mower, disk, and tiller. I've priced adding a loader to it, and as soon as I get a couple of more important things out of the way, I'm going to have it installed.
