Good morning! 42 ˚F heading to the 70s.

I need to head out to the gardens. I got an interesting e-mail yesterday wanting me to reduce a plastic wheelbarrow, WITH THE TRACTOR, so it will fit in the plastic recycle can. I don't think the tractor is the right tool . . . but . . . seat time. (I'll take a reciprocating saw also.)

I had no missed calls yesterday.
The only thing worse than not winning the tractor is to miss winning the tractor. I know, same result, still no tractor.:confused3:

Ron it will be interesting to see if your process will decrease your utility bill. My "Green" city is making my utility bill higher but it's time to vote in May and I think some Green politicians will be gone. Luckily my representative was the only one who voted against the Green for financial reasons so he can stay. He was right when they voted on it 7 years ago.

I need suggestions for a new vehicle to replace my Subaru Forester. They say my very clean 2014 with 115,000 miles is worth 8K trading it in. I have not started looking and comparing. This could be a several month process. I like the chase.

The low was 31° this morning. Yesterday wasn't to bad, some sun and in the upper 30's. We did get a dusting of snow overnight. Today is going to be a mix of rain and snow showers with a high in the upper 30's.

I did get out and work on the table legs for a good part of yesterday. It was nice to set in the sun even if it was a little cold.

I'm not sure what the day will bring. The table is on hold tell the sun comes back out.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!

18ºF and hazy sun to start the day, 30ºF presently, and mid 40ºF's anticipated. Nothing planned for today other than watching the"Tree Pproject" and grilling some birthday (67 trips so far) steaks in the BGE later. Steaks, homemade pesto with braised cherry tomatoes, and Wifey's Caesar salad. Not exactly anti-inflammatory.

Yesterday's PT went well. My ROM increased another 5ºF. I never understood "spinning" until I started using an excercycle in PT; now I do. I have to start in reverse to get get Mr Knee moving. I also got introduced to "The Rack" yesterday. It was a long day- haircut, diner food, shopping, and PT. Mr knee whined all the while which is good .

Day 2 of the Tree Project. 4 guys, 1 cherrypicker, two trucks, 2 Bobcat tracked loaders with buckets and grapples, and the chipper. I am gifting some/most of the hardwood to a young couple who could use it. I have all the wood chips that I can realistically use this year; the will blow the rest of the Chios into a designated/planned tractor path.

RonJH- Thanks for sharing your duct project; actually I enjoy reading and following all the projects going on.

RNG- I am happy to read how the van project is now moving.

25 this morning, I’m ready for warmer weather, up to 47 now, low 50s later. Some nice weather headed in over the next few days, then another wet spell. At least there are no more freezes in the two week outlook. First car show of the season is Saturday, the alumni of Ellen’s high school is doing it as a fundraiser for an alumnus with cancer, to buy him a new lawnmower.

35°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 62° today.

Went online and renewed my FOID card yesterday evening. It's always aggravating to be reminded that we have to pay the state for an ID to exercise our Constitutional Rights. Hoping that a pending lawsuit working its way through the system will end that nonsense.

Morning all;
It looks like spring is trying to get here,
most of the snow gone except in the woods and shady areas.
Trees are starting to get some buds showing.
And the turkeys are starting to strut.

When I had my knee replaced I went thru that, it can be rough having to go backward then forward a couple of times to get that first revolution done, fortunately my physical therapist were attractive women so paying to hurt myself could have been worse.

Good morning to all! Low of 24, going up to 60, sunny. Tomorrow another front comes across and drops the temps to the low 50's, then a rebound up to 65 for Thursday. The "Yo-Yo" of the weather.... All of the 4" of snow we got on Sunday night melted yesterday....not a flake left...

Today will include some more "spring cleaning" of the kitchen. Wifey is downsizing all of the accumulated 'junk' that has not been used in years. It's amazing how many utensils and specialty items have been collected over the last 35 years. We now have a lot of drawer and cabinet space.....

Does liquor go bad? We have 1/2 bottles of odd liquor that have been in the closet for at least 25 years...it has been closed, but we just don't use / drink it except for very special occasions. Wondering if I should just throw it away....
