Things are going to warm up later in the week. Tonight will be the last of the below zero overnight temps for a while.

I think today is a 'conserve energy' day.

pouring rain this morning and sure don't need it.
Have taxes to do this morning, then bake some brownies for food pantry.
stumped by a pulley that needs pulling to get the new trans in the tiller, soaking in penetrant now.
Will try again later today, neighbor helping me. Good thing I have that secret little stash of pulley keys,
bet we lose the original... may be torch time to get this pulley off but likely just need the right tool.

Prayers for all who need to mend.

I enjoy the pics and info on guitars. Have zero musical talent, always enjoy listening to others play.

Good morning. 26 now, maybe 33 later. Then dropping to 15 or so tonight. Just got mostly rain yesterday, though for a while, it was mixed with chunks.

Actually made progress on arranging a portion of the garage yesterday. Looks much better.

Just got 2nd cup of coffee, time to get eat into work......I would rather just sit here and enjoy the woodburner.....

Spring must be right around the corner. I hear the cats calling to each other. Although they are all 'fixed', it doesn't stop them from thinking they want 'it'.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 18° with light snow this morning. Heading to 24° with more snow. Got about 6" of snow since yesterday morning. Good visit with my 2 aunts. Need to get out and plow snow this morning. Need to take wife to a Dr appointment. Then sit back in my lazy boy recliner and look out at the winter wonderland.

Youngest son went Ice fishing yesterday. I remember when I did that cold weather stuff. He caught a few fish.

Eric, I did not use a wench. Pulled fence tight with tractor. Maybe that's why I pulled an end post out. :confused3:

Kyle, always want to learn how to play an instrument. But my ability to play one is worse than my ability to dance. My grandson has the ability. Do not know how my wife has kept me all these years. She loves to dance.

Son and DIL came over for dinner (southwestern shepherd's pie with green chile sauce and beans ), and we watched the Daytona crashes and finished their taxes and e-filed. Good day.

Good morning! 41 ˚F heading to 55 ˚F cloudy, north wind at 6mph.

We had an incident in the neighborhood yesterday that required 12 police cars and an all-alert-neighborhood-email from the CA telling everyone where the "Incident" was (about 4 miles from us) and to avoid the area. About 4 hours later an email was sent saying the "Incident" had been resolved. ????? May have to do a little investigative work today to solve the mystery.

Of course during the emergency I drove by the location but the road was blocked and no crowds to mingle with so I left with no intel.
