Good evening. Wow, what a change from Louisiana and yesterday in Ohio. It was about 72 every day in LA, 56 when I got home yesterday. Today, the high was 25. Supposed to be mid teens tonite. The woodburner is cranking out the heat this evening.

After the incredibly long day Monday and another mid nite Tuesday.....I simply took today off. I was dragging all day. Did some odds and ends around the house, worked on the taxes, and dabbled with some stuff on a bike. Then made supper. Time to wind down for the evening.

47 now, heading to mid twenties they say.
My new 1.5” lowering springs and shocks for the Monte Carlo today. They get installed Tuesday. I also bought a very low miles ZZ4 crate motor, not sure when that job gets done, hopefully before cruise/show season. I’m getting the itch for cruising time.

IMHO one of the best trucks built...with the 7.3L powerstroke. I had a '99 crew 4x4 that I had special ordered with the 6 speed Allison tranny, heavy 'snow plow' front suspension, and a gullwing door utility cap. I absolutely loved that truck. My big mistake was selling it.

Cold and very windy today. Helped the wife out a bit worked on a couple of projects, then off for a rehearsal for a funeral for a lodge member. Nice guy, but the smoking got him.

We have had chronic wasting disease her for awhile. The change in hunting over the years has given us out breaks of CWD, tuberculosis, and some kind of brain worm. Too many deer, too close together. The state should have outlawed baiting years ago. I’ve been to the local metro park Ron mentioned, you can sometimes get with in a few feet of deer. The have to occasionally cull them, because starvation has happened there. I used to see whole herds, 10 to 20 deer at a time, on the golf course there.

Good evening all. 23F his morning, darn near cold out there, with clear sky, light wind. Wind wasn't bad today, some high clouds later in morning, early afternoon, and high temp of 37F. Went to town this morning. needed truck's first oil change, shopping, and lunch. Stove duty all day and got to give back Scooter to his owner for the weekend . Somehow managed to tweak left calf when walking, tried a quick step, and yeow .:ashamed:

RNG, glad Chico got you taken care of.
Piloon, I can imagine the noise, we had a stamping division at work, and got to tour a can making plant ( 2 peice 12 OZ AL can). Cans were untouched from blanking to shrink wrap, and still managed a lot of noise.
