Rounded off drain plug

Some of us have to be glad of what we have. I have a friend that I work with, that lives a short distance from me. He has a trailer with welding equipment on it. I have taken things to him to remove twisted off bolts. He took a small punch and had it out in less than a minute. I think at this time, I would take it to the welding shop. Let them get it out. Likely less than 10 minutes.
But that will mean another 200 posts as to what they did wrong.

There痴 no way to get the cuttings out of the pan.

Meh...yah fill er up with da cheapest earl yah finds and puts a magnet near da drain.
Let er flow, magnet picks up stuff then remove magnet and let her all fall out.
Then place a yuuge HF magnet on the pan near the plug. It ain't goannh go no where!

edit: but then it ain't mah mohsheen either....lol

As well, he should pick up some band aids. Those new J&J ones with the cloth backing work well. Maybe a pair of auto gloves too. He should still farm this job out but if he does it himself there's going to be some degree of blood.
