Kando, wash the tractor thoroughly so there's no oil dribbling down there and the eventual, unavoidable welding doesn't set it on fire! That would start the drama all over again.
Hopefully by then somebody will come over and weld a nut, or handle, onto the nub for him.No, it'll take 500 post to determine how to get the support piece out of the way first.
