I am sure your air compressor is in your shop. But I have not seen any pictures of your shop on GM. It was nice when we visited a few years ago.

Here's an old picture. it's 12' from the back door of the house (on the right, of course) across the patio/breezeway into the shop on the left.

72°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 91° today. iThingie is forecasting mid-90s for the next few days.

Nice-looking truck, Mostly. Congrats.

I hate shaving. Always have. I rarely shave more than every other day. Been using those Bic disposable things for as long as I can remember. I tried a few electric shavers back in the '90s - Norelco and Braun - and they always gave me razor burn, so I went back to the cheap blades. My father always used a safety razor, but I never cared for them. Tried a straight razor for awhile, too, but they're too much work. I get those ads for razor clubs every so often and just chuck them in the trash can. I'm just not into shaving enough to join a club for it.

Been looking at graphics programs lately to design my CD covers and inserts. As much as I really like what I see in the various offerings from Adobe, I absolutely hate the idea of paying $20/month for the rest of my life for the privilege of accessing their program. Why can't we just buy programs that we can own anymore? MS does that same BS with their Office 365 suite. I don't want my programs in a cloud somewhere, I want them on my hard drive. I did find a previous version of CorelDRAW (X8) from 2016 that looks like it will work. It's the downsized version they call Home and Student or something like that. Only $80. Thinking I'm going that direction. Anyone here into graphics with knowledge of these programs? This will be a completely new venture for me, but I'm kind of looking forward to learning something new.

Take a look at GIMP, they've add-ons for designing CD covers, it's free and widely supported.

I looked at GIMP about a year ago. I need to be able to import the PDF templates from the disc duplication company, and GIMP won't seem to do that without rasterizing them.

I started using GIMP when photoshop got too bloated and costly. It's got a lot of the same features, many similar, and most work really well. I've tried other package solutions, some of them are really nice for a photographer, but over time GIMP has kept me where others have ultimately just helped me keep going back to GIMP. I use a Macintosh and Windows and Linux... so I can use GIMP on any of them.

Is that a four string guitar you're playing in your avatar? :)

Ron mentioned not seeing pictures of my shop, and I posted an old picture of the patio/breezeway from the house to the shop. I haven't made any new pictures in the shop in a long time, but I reckon the only thing that's changed is the fact that I sold the pool table some time ago. The double door is the one coming from the patio and the single door is the other end of the shop going out back.
