That is a dirty joke. White dog jumped in the muck.
Looks like fun, you can get new tools without spending any $$$$$.Ed
Been thinking about RS, hope he is doing ok.
Almost like Christmas finding long lost friends LOL
he posted 70% less in Friendly politics today than yesterday.
thanks Don. That answers that.
up way too early because I of course went to bed too early maybe 9pm.
So this cup of Seattles Best coffee is tasting mighty fine now as the little
electric motors are slowly pushing up my eyelids.
Have another half hour to go, but then daylight starts creeping in, lovely time to be out, if the
bugs aren't biting. Thought I'd pick the potatoes I dug up on the third pass yesterday.
Not going to do it carefully, my fireman neighbor will follow me with his potato fork he likes to use and
I expect to get about 20 pounds worth, maybe even 30
and I just know he will get another ten pounds when I'm done.
Sorry Kyle, just not the time to take that very good advice. Making hay while the sun shines...
Got an email from a garden club member saying she and her husband want to come early Monday morning and help out.
Outstanding. What's nice is I can hand them a to do list and they will do that while
I can do something else. Like weedeat around the vegetables which I
won't trust anyone else with.
I have three tomatoes to pick today plus about half a dozen cabbages. I pulled one cabbage and it sure seems like a wasteful plant, more than half the weight
of the plant surrounded the end product, in other words, I threw out more than I kept. I guess that's the same with corn...
Cabbages aren't going to win any prize, but free is free.
I won't even take a picture of my woodshop it's such a mess, with stuff piled here and there.
There are just so many projects ahead of it...and at least I know where to find things.
I know the workmen must think
I'm a real slob when they go in there to get into the barn fridge.
I keep hoping for three days of rain so I can get these "inside" jobs done.
I'll probably keep on hoping too...
May you all have a nice Sunday with family fun and contentment.
... I tried to follow that when I had 1 bench, but since I've populated my shops with about ten "workbenches", 4'x8' I frequently leave things "laid out". I'll run into a problem, need another part etc. and leave the project for up to months till everything comes together. Getting parts locally is about a 2 hour roundtrip job.
