I will have to look at the add again in our local buy and sell. I noticed an M7040 for about $30000 , I believe 2008 or 2009 year. I'm not sure now if its the 4x4 model. Larger tractor model then some of the compact tractors not far off of that same price. It has 400 hours on it. That is Canadian dollars. At a guess it would be maybe $24000 American? Is that a good price? Not many hours on it.

4 wheel drive is imp. Does it have a FEL? If so, SSQA mount, Bucket? Probably 8 speed which is OK despite some nay Sayers on TBN. Hydraulic shuttle or mechanical? A cab tractor.? Depending upon answers to questions, cost seems fair. Depends upon the tasks you anticipate? What type of tires? 400 hours could show wear if owner did extensive road work?

$30000 is a steal for a 400 hour M7040 4x4 cab loader hyd shuttle, ok for an M7040SU 4x4 with crash box.

In 2012 I bought a brand new M7040 DTHSCC1 for $40,000 in Canada.

Deluxe cab, 1153 loader hydraulic shuttle and a second rear remote.

In Canada if the tractor has over 60 pto horse power you are presumed to be a farmer and no tax is charged.

I would be looking underneath for signs of hitting things like stumps.

The best 7040 have limited slip front axle.

Your profile says Newfoundland but the tractor description and even price match what the guy across the road from me had listed. I can’t find the listing today, maybe he sold it...

My neighbor was just selling a cabbed version. He had it listed for $33,000 with FEL and no attachments. If my memory is right is was 07 and 2100 hours. 400 hours is new in comparison to 2100. Not sure the price of the cab option but it seams fare
