I don't understand about buying an expensive utility vehicle. Does it do anything besides transport people and a few tools or it it for those without a pickup or tractor and also takes on those duties? I know my cheap new golf cart can pull a trailer of fire wood or gravel.

I can shake my head in agreement. While I have wished my GC was 4x4 it hasn’t gotten stuck, but that is partly due to where I go. Of course it’s not that new (‘96) and I only paid $1400 for it more than 7 years ago. Maybe when I replace it.

Ellen came by, she was a mess, she’d just told her late husbands twin brother about us. He handled it fine, but she, not so much. I think she is ok now though.
That has been one of the hard things, at a restaurant last week, the waitress that served Lynn and I for years was very cold to me, I realized what it was and called her aside to tell her about Lynn. Well, she couldn’t have been nicer after that. It is tough though, having to explain away the glances and such sometimes.

Welllll my plans for today were turn upside down you might say.
Went outside to start Kubota let it warm up for some seat time as my right foot touch the ground foot slip and roll towards inside and lost my balance head hit rear R4...double ouch,by 9:30am Mrs. convince me in no uncertain term were going to hospital 3 hours later between doctors x-rays air cast meds,least nothing was broken going to be long 5-7 days... have gut feeling I am going to catch cabin fever now.

Also 2-3 good sips of dill pickle juice often works.

That’s a remedy I can stand. I love dill pickle juice but wife hates my breathe afterwards. Usually do that anyways a couple of times a week.

Because for me I enjoy trail riding in the mountains some pretty aggressive stuff and 13 inches of ground clearance not always enough. Wife uses it in her landscaping and the hydro over electric dump bed helps her immensely. The ride is very comfortable which for me is important

One could say the same thing about bass boats, 3/4 ton trucks, houses cars etc

I think the Doctors are way to quick to give statins to everyone. They should first try modifications in diet like staying away from the high cholesterol bombs like liver and shrimp and cut down on portions of meat and reduce fat intake while increasing their vegetable intake. They assume people cannot change their diet and would rather have a pill with bad side effects.

The drug companies bank on that assumption to the tune of $37 billion annually.

When I went to my first cardiologist and did all the lab work he said " Your cholesterol is way too high but don't worry about all that diet stuff, we can control it with drugs". He promptly wrote a prescription for Lipitor . Now after 2 surgeries and a mitral clip procedure I'm still on a statin drug but lower dosage and seem to have adapted to all the bad side effects. I've changed my eating habits a lot but genetics are a pretty high hurdle to over come.
