If you desire to move snow w/ 84" implement, this works and lifting is not an issue, pusher weighs 550 lbs.

Does your tractor have any trouble lifting a full 84" bucket of wet snow? If so, how full will it lift? Thanks in advance!

It lifts a full bucket of wet snow and ice without a problem. I do have a 700 lb. snowblower on the back and the rear tires loaded with rimguard or it would probably do a handstand.

Looks like I might actually get a chance to blow some snow. Most of the Winter has been 6" of heavy wet snow followed within 24 hours by 2 inches of rain. Not much point in moving that slop.

Calling for two days of snow, 5-8 inches each day. Gonna be warm so it'll be heavy, but if we get as much as predicted it'll need to be moved.

Great. Thanks. I've been looking for a used 96” snow bucket. So I should be able to lift a full bucket.

This Erskine front-mount was widened to 86" in 2011 and continues to be a reliable snow mover. It will eat big piles so I don't miss having a loader. (full disclosure I have FEL on another tractor if needed for scraping ice etc)

Same here, was already at least 8" and still coming down hard at 3pm. We'll see, These back to back big storms are a pain, especially after being taunted by springlike weather.

Just west of Concord NH in Salisbury we might have 6-8 inches. I think I will wait and plow around 4am.

I kinda chuckle when I hear cheering for more snow.

Up here we get, usually, 25 or so major events and at about the 15th or so would gladly let U have them.
N'oreasters are the worst., ask those on the east coast.

My worst (when I plowed commercially with a truck) was a 36" event.
I almost cried as my blade was only 24" high.
Well chains on all 4 and a tough diesel for power and I survived that event.
LOL I made the local newspaper as one client was a reporter.

Just to give you an idea of what we face, I installed 36" drift cutters on my snow blower.
We are generally cold enough that whatever snow falls it stays 'til spring thaw, and when that happens due to our accumulations we then get flooding as the mountain streams swell and overflow the banks causing flooding in the lower elevations.
It often is post card pretty but you later pay the price.
