Good call on the deckover, Rye. Mine is nowhere near as nice as that one, but I love not having fenders to worry about. Makes it much more useful for moving logs. I also set mine up for processing firewood. I use the tractor to load logs on the trailer, buck them up there, slide/roll rounds to where I've got the splitter parked right next to the trailer. rps20180127_060436_628.jpgrps20180127_060540_605.jpg

Thanks gents. I am going to be trailering logs on the road, I ordered some stake pocket poles for added insurance. I plan on putting 4x4s on the deck, loading with pallet forks, then between chains/straps/stake pocket stakes I should be good. It all works out in my head, lol. My first run will be next week, I’ll post some pics.

MB- that’s a nice trailer, how long is she???

It's 22'. No dovetail, so loading the tractor can be a little unnerving. It makes me happy to have a hydrostatic machine. It's not perfect, but I got it for a great price so I'm very happy. Probably the worst part about it is that when I put my Kubota on there and hitch it to my 90 F250 with the straight six it makes me really want to buy a new truck. :)

I would unload my tractor off nearly anything. You should try backing a skid steer off if you want a real treat.

I generally back my skid steer on the trailer, I have put it in my dump trailer talk about steep and unnerving. I’ll have to try it out on this one and see how it loads best. I was going to try the other day but the darn battery was dead. It’s always something

Hauled a little firewood today. I have some HD stake pocket poles on order, that should add some piece of mind. Really happy with my set up.

Same here, I just click on the pic and it comes up full size. Nothing wrong with that.

983847AF-F9B4-4C31-BE82-D6DBE6C16376.jpegMan this sure makes my JD 7775 look small vs my 16 trailer I had. I am really enjoying this trailer and the turning radius is insane with the goose. That said if you have to make a turn you can not swing and have to back in a tight space it is like Austin Powers and that golf cart in the Goldmember movie. It is a 57 point turn cause you just cannot swing her. I ran into that dropping my 7775 at a job site, construction vehicles everywhere in a Cul-de-sac at the end of a tight gravel 2 mile road.
