Not here they don't...

I post my picts upright and that's the way they show up, have you ever seen any of my picts side ways??

Here's a maple, headed to the BSM,

When you see a sideways preview on TBN and click on it, the big picture comes up sideways, too?

What are you using to view TBN (pc, mac, phone, etc...).

Last Sat. I took this picture upright even even though I was a little sideways. Maybe that's why things did go a little sideways.
The first time in ten years this happens, I lowered the winch so to release the cable from tractor seat but nothing worked, check again see if pto is engaged, get off thinking the chain on winch broke, wasn't that, somehow someway the pto coupling came off the tractor pto output shaft spline. As I look at the unhooked pto thinking that coupling must of broke, but didn't see any broken pieces, what a time that was to get it back on, it's a push system, a push button has to be easier. Just dont see how a stick could make the pto coupling unhook.

Sometimes, esp. in the cold that "pin" is in slow motion (cold grease) and maybe you missed that it never really seated itself when you hooked up?
..or you just happened to run over that one "magic" stick that we all find once in a while.

Lucky you didn't drive that shaft into the ground so it tried to go out thru the back of your winch OldPath. I have one of those push/pull couplings on my chipper. I hate it. Seems you have to work against your self. Not enough room for two hands and you have to pull back on the ring and push forward on the shaft at the same time. Not easy for me to do. My woods is full of magic sticks too but I have not found one that could do that yet.

Moving some maple tops into the firewood pile yesterday.

GG, how's the new bigger machine working out for you?
It's funny how you rarely can really have something too big, heavy or powerful and don't realize your smaller, old machine is gone.:D

Exactly, not easy for me to do either, what kind of coupling do you have on your winch pto shaft? Since my alarm didn't go off this morning and missed work, I'll try another trip in the woods this afternoon after the frost gets off the pumpkin, just to see if the pto shaft stays on, dont really care for single digit logging.
You must be lifting those maple tops with M? my L would be lucky just pulling that.

I do did have a lot grease on the spline/coupling, but I had the winch hooked up since this past summer and made several winching trips, maybe there's such a thing as to much grease, and I have had a few run-ins with those magic sticks in years past.
