That model has an unusually complicated mess of linkages so that would be my first suspect but it could also be an oring or even a broken relief valve spring.

That is a very helpful schematic. So my plan of attack is to get 59 off and look inside correct? What numbers would I be specifically looking at for the relief spring?

That is identical to my old 2002D which is made for the tiller cable controlled draft control. Doubting it is your problem but I know if you get the draft control handle all the way back or forward it will stop the lift from working. Can't remember Whether back or forward. Probably not your problem but something to ponder.

I don't have anything else to add except, it may be time for a back up tractor. :D
Maybe you can use your bucket until it warms up
High here today was 36. 36 would probably be considered a heat wave where you are

If I'm looking at it right,That O ring doesn't look to be a difficult job. Might find something that will fit in an O ring assortment

I think that's an application where the identical o-ring is needed.

I found the 'strainer' (wire mesh hydraulic filter) cemented in solid in the YM240 the first time I went to clean it. The o-ring in there intended to seal it in place was not only too fat, crushing the mating surface on the filter, it had also turned into adhesive tar from the heat. I had to replace the strainer. Don't create this problem, in that application!

I really late but for other in the future reading this yanmar uses a Japanese spec oring that is not common here. Its not the metric sizes that are common and definitely not SAE. For critical seals you need the correct one, other less critical you can sometimes fit an SAE or metric that is very close in the application and get away with it.

I would wonder if something back in the 3 point area could have frozen. Loader working should eliminate the pump key.
Winner winner, chicken dinner. Warmed up a bit here and I started it up and the 3pt worked just fine. Must have had some moisture in the oil. The only way I could be getting water in there is from the shift boot. I have gone through three in 6 years. I hardly ever shift the gears with the power shift but the boots always split. Will drain it when I get over to tractor supply to get some new oil.

I was thinking ice in the oil too, or I'm the valve. Glad you figured it out.
Moisture from condensation as well. All these people who onky change their oil once a decade cause they only put 10 hours a year on the tractor probably have all kinds of water and rust in their sumps. There not sealed to the environment so moisture in and cold temps will cause that condensation inside

It certainly could be moisture coming in past the shift boot. Yanmar issued a technical bulletin on that very problem back in about 1982 - I've got a copy of it somewhere. They promised to redesign the boot, but said in the meanwhile people should shift the lever to a position that didn't stress the boot when they leave the tractor for the evening.
Now that's my kind of "down home" tech bulletin.

Even better, keep a gallon plastic bucket a d put over the shifter while it's in neutral. Haha
