Best Attachments to start with?

Mine is CATII,, it is designed to be used behind my 584 IH,,,
before I would use it for much stump removal,, I think I would need to add some gussets etc,,,

Mine was originally built for some simple trailer moving,, not high power yanking, twisting, and pulling.
if I hooked a stump to mine as it sits, surely the stump would tear it apart,,,

How is it constructed. Got pics? Tube sizes?

I just started welding one Saturday,,,
the tube is 2 1/2" x 3/16",, the plate is 1/2" thick.

Doing most things, it is fine,, but,,,
I have found pulling stumps can destroy more things than you can imagine!!

Yea, 2-1/2 x 3/16 wall.....especially at the wider cat 2 spacing...might cause grief. How are your pins?Are they sticking out the ends? or clevis style?

I built mine out of 4x4 1/4" wall.....and the vertical for the toplink is 3x3x1/4

The pins just stick out,, some day, I may rebuild the tool for more abusive use.
For the most part, pulling with a chain etc,,, when connected to the three point hitch is frowned upon.
I do it,, but, I am VERY careful.

If I am pulling near the capacity of my 584 IH,, I try to always hook to the drawbar.

Yours looks like a hotrod speeder bike. As with all things of this nature....it had to happen sometime.
